Carrying out coral peeling

Coral facial peeling is carried out according to a specific algorithm, which may vary slightly depending on the cosmetologist’s approach.

Stage 1 – Preparation for the procedure. One preparation option is to carry out ultrasonic or mechanical cleansing of the face to open clogged pores, a few days before the procedure. You can instead use a special antiseptic soap immediately before your coral peel. The second option is considered preferable, because it does not lead to damage to the integrity of the skin.

Stage 2 – Coral facial peeling. To carry out the procedure, the cosmetologist must carry out a series of sequential actions:

  • First of all, a composition is prepared from coral powder, herbal ingredients, sea salt and minerals. The ratio of ingredients is determined by a specialist and depends on the expected depth of impact. The drug is applied to the working area and evenly distributed over the surface of the face. The area around the eyes is not affected.
  • The cosmetologist makes massage movements that enhance the effectiveness of the session. For a superficial effect, coral facial peeling is performed no longer than 2-4 minutes; for medium cleansing, the time increases to 5-10 minutes.
  • The composition is left on the face for another 10-15 minutes. The face must be covered with a damp compress so that the mixture does not dry out. At this stage, painful sensations most often appear in the form of burning, tingling and itching.
  • through required time the mass is removed from the surface of the face cotton pads or sponges moistened with cool water. In some cases, cosmetologists use serum with hyaluronic acid.
  • final touch – application to treated skin protective gel, which will consolidate the result and protective cream, which will help cope with the consequences of cleaning.

This is how coral facial peeling is performed in a hospital setting. The active cleansing phase is not over yet; it will last a few more days. In the first day, the face will acquire a reddish-brown tint, a feeling of tightness and pain from touching the tissues will appear. After 2-3 days, a film will form, which will eventually begin to crack and peel. To prevent complications and reduce the severity of discomfort, special care is required after coral peeling.

On the fifth day after cleaning, it is recommended to visit the specialist who performed the manipulation. He will assess the degree of tissue restoration, make individual appointments, and set a date for a repeat procedure. Cosmetologists advise to go full course cleansing, consisting of 4 sessions. The interval between them is from two to three months, depending on the thickness and type of epidermis.
