The best natural cosmetics. Brands and ratings of decorative cosmetics

This company has been winning the hearts of beautyholics for more than 25 years. Initially, Artdeco positioned themselves as a brand of professional cosmetics for salons, but after some time it became clear: the demand for products is growing among ordinary buyers. For relatively little money, you get rich, highly pigmented shades and high durability - your makeup will stay firmly in place for several hours.

The main feature of the brand is the replaceable Mosaic blocks, which are released in new cases every season. You choose what to fill the blocks with and create individual palettes with eye shadows and blushes with different textures and shades. By the way, we also recommend taking a closer look at the Perfect Teint Concealer in a convenient case with a brush: its delicate texture easily disguises imperfections and circles under the eyes.

Sephora

Popular

Sephora is not just the famous department stores with a giant entrance that we come across every now and then in Europe. This is also a large brand that creates its own line of cosmetics. The brand's bestseller to this day remains an express manicure remover. To use it you don't need cotton pads- only this miracle jar with a sponge inside. You put your finger in the jar, twist it in different sides a couple of times - and even the brightest varnish will disappear without a trace. Take a closer look at cream eyeshadows in all shades: from neon blue to classic beige - they will withstand both snow and rain, and can only be removed with the help of a special waterproof makeup product.

Catrice

This brand of cosmetics boasts not only a variety of textures and shades, but also a high-quality composition. When creating each product, only natural raw materials are used - so girls with sensitive skin and allergy sufferers should not be afraid. In addition, the products are very durable - they will last even under the hot spotlights.

It’s worth taking a closer look at the Allround Concealer cream concealer palette: it contains five shades. Use green to disguise pimples and redness, pink to visually smooth out dark circles under the eyes, apply the lightest - powdery - on the bridge of the nose, apply beige over colored ones, and dark shade use to contour your face.

Nouba

This brand was founded by Italian makeup artist Rosie Armanini back in 1978. She was inspired by women from African tribe Nubas that are painted on their bodies and faces daily various patterns. The main feature of the brand is its persistent and very rich pigments. Therefore, their long-lasting liquid lipstick Millebaci instantly became a bestseller and a favorite of all women. There are several reasons to become friends with her. The first is the perfect red shade, that classic one that will suit a girl with any skin tone. The second is convenient application using a soft applicator. And the third, most main reason- durability. The lipstick does not “run away” from the lips and can withstand several cups of coffee.

Gosh

Initially, the brand produced skincare products, and then switched to decorative cosmetics. The goal was to create products that, when used, would make women exclaim enthusiastically “wow” - this is how the name Gosh is translated from Danish. The brand is also loved for its numerous lipsticks and lip glosses (they protect delicate skin lips, and some have light aroma vanilla), and for moisturizing foundations. We advise you to take a closer look at the Amazing Length Build Mascara lengthening mascara with panthenol. It not only visually makes eyelashes fuller and longer, but also gently cares for them - you can find a nutritional complex in the composition.

NYX

The founder of the brand, Toni Ko, is also a beautyaholic. As a teenager, she would save money on lunch so she could run to a cosmetics store in the evening and come out with a new lipstick. NYX is the cosmetics that Tony created for herself and for her friends, and then suddenly decisively released onto the big market. At her headquarters in downtown Los Angeles, she enthusiastically tests new products, overseeing every step of the creation of lipsticks, eye shadows and even brushes.

It’s worth taking a closer look at the Butter Gloss lip glosses, which are not called “butters” for nothing. They are very dense, viscous, with a thick texture and rich pigment. You need to apply them as carefully as possible, but they will honestly last on your lips all evening.

Sleek Make Up

The British brand Sleek targets girls who are not afraid of experimenting with makeup. In their color scheme- a wide variety of shades: from terracotta to gold and charcoal black. Beauty bloggers and simple girls loved the brand for its affordable price, interesting color combinations and stylish packaging - all products are in matte black cases. You should start getting acquainted with the brand with its numerous sets. Take a look at the Precious Metals Highlighting palette in packaging with a magnetic clasp, the Blush By 3 blush palette and, of course, the eyeshadow palettes - with their help, daytime makeup can easily be transformed into evening makeup.

Kiko

The brand was created in the Italian city of Bergamo, not far from Milan. And only recently the brand began to spread throughout the world, even reaching Colombia. The brand refuses advertising on principle - new customers are already running to it in an endless stream. When asked “How did you find out about us,” everyone smiles: “A friend told me.” If you are in Italy and come across a Kiko store, choose nail polishes (there are more than a hundred shades), highlighters, moisturizing lipsticks and mineral powders.

Manly Pro

This brand is famous not so much for its decorative cosmetics as for its makeup accessories. Pay attention to brushes, eyelash curlers with a spring, spatulas and palettes. In short, Manly Pro products will especially appeal to makeup artists and girls with a serious approach to makeup. From decorative cosmetics take a closer look at the set of dry correctors - with just two shades you can create ideal chiseled cheekbones and a thin nose.

Choose good cosmetics- that's another quest. You need to hit the target with color and choose the right products for your skin. However, there is another point regarding our health - quality. After all, we are talking about products that we use regularly.

Here's what you should pay attention to first of all when choosing any cosmetics:

  1. Best before date

Obvious, isn't it? However, there are some nuances here.

  • If the manufacturer promises a product shelf life of up to three years or more, it means that it contains preservatives and other not very useful substances.
  • Good cosmetics, generally speaking, have a shelf life of no more than six months.
  1. Compound

High-quality products contain natural substances instead of harmful preservatives: benzoic acid, sorbic acid, vitamin E, extract grape seed, jojoba oil, aloe vera. Such cosmetic products should sometimes be stored in the refrigerator. This point must be specified in the instructions and annotations.

But substances that are often found in the composition and which should be avoided include:

  • Industrial oil (Mineral Oil or Petrolatum), which can cause rashes and acne.
  • Propylene glycol, which causes many allergic reactions and irritations, as well as the appearance of acne.
  • Sodium lauryl sulfate. This product is widely used in shampoos, shower gels, foaming agents, - dangerous component preparations for skin and hair care. But as detergent he's pretty weak.
  • Glycerin, which dries out the skin.
  • ANHYDROUS may be found in deodorants.
  • BHA is an ingredient that is a serious skin irritant and endocrine disruptor.
  • FORMALDEHYDE, which is often present in cosmetics for nail care.
  • PETROLEUM DISTILLATE. It may be included in foundation creams, mascara, in lipsticks, including hygiene products, in perfumes.
  • FD&CBLUE6, D&C GREEN 1, D&CRED 1, D&CRED 3, FD&CRED3, ACID BLUE 3, ACID YELLOW 3, CI 174160 - toxic to children's skin.
  1. Smell

High-quality cosmetics never smell strongly, that is, they do not have pronounced aromas. This is a sign that the product has natural ingredients.

  1. Country of origin

It is better to purchase cosmetics made in countries with a similar climate. These countries include: USA, France, Italy, Germany. In winter, funds from Finland and Canada will be useful.

  1. Price

What doesn't always matter is the cost of the product. Mass-produced cosmetics are produced in large quantities, so the price of one product is lower than that of luxury cosmetics.

Choosing a specific type of cosmetics

  1. Concealer
  • Its structure should be uniform, without lumps and have a pleasant smell and texture.
  • A good cream will never smell like ammonia or alcohol.
  • If the color is uniform and without variations, then it is a truly high-quality product. Most famous companies There are reviews and recommendations from users, it would be nice to read them too.
  1. Powder
  • If the powder contains minerals and plant extracts, it will even out the tone of the face, and also help cope with inflammation, moisturize and nourish the skin with useful components.
  • By running the sponge over top side palms, you can see how the powder lays down: if it’s smooth, then everything is in order, but if it crumbles, then it’s better to abandon it.
  1. Blush

If their quality is decent, then they:

  • Distributes evenly and blends easily.
  • They do not crumble or smear and are durable.
  • Suitable for correcting facial contours.

The concept of the word “cosmetics” came to us from Greece and is literally translated as “having experience in decorating.” This term was first used back in 1867 during the first exhibition of perfumery and soap industry in Paris. Since then, cosmetics have confidently become our companions, without which not a single person can do. With the help of cosmetics we take care of our nails, hair, face and body skin. Most cosmetologists use cosmetics from natural ingredients, it is even often made by hand. The matter, of course, is not very simple, and the products are quite expensive. An alternative is ready-made cosmetic products made in natural basis, which are generally available on store shelves. What cosmetics are considered the best in terms of quality and naturalness? This will be discussed in our article.

What to look for when choosing cosmetics?

Many women and girls who do not attend beauty salons, when choosing cosmetics, they are guided by the most advertised product. Of course, advertising is the engine of trade, but you should not blindly trust everything that is said about a given product. There is also an opinion that good and high-quality cosmetics must be expensive. This is mistake. After all, the price of cosmetic products is based not only on the components used for its production, but also on the costs of an advertising campaign for a particular product. Therefore, very often we are faced with the fact that advertised cosmetics sometimes do not live up to expectations and do not cover the funds spent on its purchase.

Brands are market leaders

If we talk about the rating of natural cosmetics, then such studies are often conducted by the independent Russian Scientific Cosmetology Society. This rating was created based on a study of several types cosmetic products various brands. Special attention in the tests carried out the following criteria were paid to:

1) Generation number - this indicator determines the presence or absence chemical nature preservatives;
2) chemicalization indicator Kx - the level of the indicator determines the degree of presence of chemical components in cosmetics (from 0 to 100).

In addition, all products on the cosmetic market can be divided into various categories. For example, mass-market cosmetics. In terms of cost, it is the cheapest and accessible to all segments of the population. But another strict rule applies here, which states that high-quality cosmetics cannot be cheap. The criteria for evaluating inexpensive cosmetics are as follows:

— product shelf life;
— aggressive or massive advertising;
— presence of active flavors.

In the modern market of cosmetic products, professional cosmetics also occupy a confident place, which is often used in specialized salons. As a rule, such products have an incredible effect on the skin, hair or nails. This is due to the presence of the substance active ingredients. But often this effect wears off quickly. Therefore, one-time customers with a good income become regular customers beauty salons with above average cost of services.

Having analyzed several factors influencing this rating, we have selected several brands that produce natural cosmetics of various types. price category:

— Mirra, Mirra-M, Mirra-Lux
— Glorion, Gloris Russia
—Weleda
—Yves-rocher
Green Mama
—Dr. Haushka
— Kamil
— Dzintars
— Decleor
— Cora
— L'AMBRE Limited
—Dove
—Londa

It is worth noting that such famous brands for example, Vichy, Mary Kay, Christian Dior, Max Factor, Maybelline, Lancome, etc. occupy far from the first positions in the ranking. DECORATIVE COSMETICS

Select a basic set of decorative products from affordable price easier than finding quality care products. So, what should you fill your makeup bag with? Inexpensive makeup products that have worked well:

powders – Stay Matte from Rimmel (356 rubles), Prime and Fine from Catrice (365 rubles);
concealers – Concealer “2 in 1” from Eveline Cosmetics (167 RUR), Allround Concealer palette from Catrice (277 RUR), Affinitone from Maybelline (293 RUR);
shadows - from Essence (from 200 rubles), NYX (from 340 rubles), Rimmel (from 258 rubles), Artdeco (from 307 rubles);
mascara – Cabaret Premiere from Vivienne Sabo (351 RUR), “90×60×90” from Divage (from 313 RUR), Lash Sensational from Maybelline (424 RUR), Volume Million Lashes from L’Oreal (519 RUR);

Advice. When choosing decorative cosmetics, you should save the least amount on foundation and powder, otherwise problems with the integument cannot be avoided.

Used budget cosmetics are the best option for girls who lack dermatological problems. Products from the mass and middle market are able to cleanse and moisturize the skin, as well as protect it from environmental influences. It is necessary to select products taking into account the characteristics of the integument and the safety of the composition. If there are obvious skin imperfections, it is better not to spend money on cosmetics, but to contact a specialist who will recommend competent treatment.

About what you would like to see on the blog, I especially remember the desire to write more reviews about budget cosmetics. We all know very well that the crisis has not gone away, so eating on golden plates and recommending to smear yourself exclusively with creams that cost several thousand is at least tactless. Yes, I continue to use luxury and professional cosmetics, but I also know a lot of cheaper analogues, and good quality. And today I will try to make a list of great budget funds, I hope quite useful.

I already made a similar list for one magazine, and to be honest, the process of agreeing on it was another reason why I hate gloss. I was not even given a price category that I had to meet, but an amount. It’s quite stupid: in the title “How to buy everything you need for a thousand rubles” it sounds impressive, but in life very few people find themselves washed ashore by a wave without a single item of cosmetics, but with a thousand dollar bill in their fist.

We buy the necessary things gradually, and here it is important to stick to a certain price category: this is how cutting works family budget. If you stick to the mass market category and buy only what you really need (well, that is, not five pieces of mascara at once), or what is out of stock, then you will spend less than this thousand in a month. While if you try to immediately collect a full “basket” of cosmetics of the same category, then you will not meet the thousand.

So, in that magazine they were stuck on a certain amount, and I had to name it, which in itself would not be sufficient for anything. But then it turned out to be even more fun: after all, gloss works based on advertisers. And suddenly they returned my list to me with a request not to mention the same brand twice in it - they say, you can’t give anyone an advantage. But I wanted to choose two products from the same brand as the best! Of course, what I picked up as a replacement was also good product, but...but now you understand why I feel more comfortable on my blog. Here I recommend without anyone's direction; Perhaps this is subjective, but it is sincere.

I learned something from the introduction almost for Friday’s post, but excuse me, it’s boiling over. Let's move on to the list I made. At first I wanted to go to the store and fill up a real basket of necessary funds, that is, literally make a purchase in live, but then I decided that there would be little point in this, because I already have my own necessary funds. But I honestly walked around the store with budget cosmetics and all the photos of the display cases were taken by me with my own hands.

Let's start with decorative cosmetics. I will simply list the funds, but you will find detailed reviews on the links.

  1. Many people don’t consider makeup base at all. necessary item(but in vain!), but in any case good bases available not only in the luxury segment. I can recommend the mattifying base (as well as theirs), the “perfector cream” Anew Avon (I’ll write about it later) and an excellent product - base and care in one.
  2. Foundation – I really liked it, but in general I prefer luxury products in this category, I’ll be honest. Although, with the collapse of the ruble exchange rate, buying “Korean”, “Japanese” and other authentic BB creams in Asia has become less profitable, but for now this is the only option to find super-quality at a price below our luxury.
  3. Blush - very good dry blush is produced by Bourjois, in addition, there are options both matte and with gentle lungs shimmer, both bright and natural. Of the cream ones (or rather, even gel ones), I would recommend.
  4. Powder - a lot depends on what effect you want. If you like transparent setting powder, which itself does not give a tint and does not cover anything, but fixes the foundation, mattifies and gives a slight “blur” effect, then try the powder from last year’s L’Etoile “Marie Antoinette” collection. It's a shame that this is a limited edition, but I see many products from the collection in stores. But with budget powders with good coverage... alas, it’s difficult. It’s not for nothing that at one time, being forced to switch from saving money to mass-market cosmetics, I still kept the luxury powder for myself. This is very subtle matter.
  5. Shadows - here my favorites are L'Etoile. And fortunately, these are not limited options, but proven ones from a permanent assortment. Firstly, their five-color Les Parisiennes palettes are mostly of very good quality (although there are some problems with limited editions, but here are the links to good options- , L'Etoile). Confetti's single-color baked eyeshadows are also beyond praise. Well, my favorite ones are the gel-metal “diamonds” from the series.
  6. Good mascara It’s not at all difficult to find in the mass market; Maybelline has the richest selection here: , . Vivivenne Sabo also has very good examples - surprisingly inexpensive (and frankly, cheap) and at the same time excellent.
  7. Eyebrow products - it’s difficult to give specific advice here, since everyone shapes their eyebrows differently, but my favorites in the mass market are the series (personally, I most often use gel with fibers and eyeliner marker) and .
  8. Good concealers I haven’t seen it in the mass market segment for a long time; the last pleasant discovery is L’Etal.
  9. As for lipsticks, I want to recommend the really best so much that I’ll raise the price bar a little: L’Oreal Color Riche lipsticks are almost flawless. Moisturizing, uniform coverage, excellent pigmentation. I showed shades from four shades, and of course, shades from New Year's collection with absolutely . If you prefer transparent options, I can recommend rich ones. Among budget matte lipsticks, I would say last year’s ones are the best so far - they say they are going to be transferred to the permanent collection. They are both comfortable to wear and very durable. If you want matte, but a little softer and not so “eternal” - I recommend it.
  10. But it’s not difficult to find good highlighters in the mass market: light silky highlighter, white Maybelline highlighter, their multifunctional highlighter, shimmer bases.

Well, if you think about it, you shouldn’t limit yourself to decorative cosmetics. Living without mascara and lipstick is not at all harmful, but without skin care products? I don’t pretend to have a complete list here, again, but I’ll name the basic products that I personally really liked. After thinking a little, I decided not to include serums here: after all, this is the quintessence useful components, and they are extremely rarely inexpensive but effective. You can save on basic moisturizing, but it’s better not to save on serums.

  1. Face cream - I really liked the Lumene creams from the Vitamin C series; True, it was a long time ago, but I hope that the changes there are only for the better.
  2. Makeup remover - there’s a lot of room here; many people can dissolve makeup (but not your skin) inexpensive means. For example, a couple of Nivea works well - micellar water and Bioderma, Avon has a waterproof makeup remover that literally removes All. At the last link you can read about the excellent product Dermacol, which is also excellent.

  1. Masks and scrubs - Himalaya has good options, for example, the “Refreshing Fruity” cleansing mask for dry skin and the exfoliating-cleansing mask with neem. The second one generally cleans everything perfectly, but my son can’t stand it because of its “muddy” color. I'm used to white kaolin masks, you know! If you get along well with sheet masks, try ; The brand also had a warming cleansing mask, which was also good. Once upon a time, my must-have was the self-heating Garnier sauna mask - I can’t even count how many times I bought it: has it really been discontinued? This is just a crime! I can’t help but mention which I really, really liked.
  2. Anti-inflammatory drugs - first of all, I would recommend transparent ones. I put it on overnight and in the morning you see the result, as if two days had already passed. Sometimes it heals completely, but if an abscess has formed, excuse the unaesthetic truth, the patch will most likely pull out its “head” without squeezing or traumatic effects. I can also add here: my favorites are Nivea, Cettua (without adding coal) and TonyMoly. Everything is very budget friendly. I can’t recommend anything for spot moxibustion, everything is individual: for example, tea tree oil in the composition helps some, but not others, some like it salicylic acid, and someone is peeling off from it. The gel helped my daughter.
  3. Tonic, whatever one may say, is a necessary thing. You can wash your face with completely lime water, which will make the faucet covered with stalactites, but if you wipe your face with tonic after it, all this crap will go away from your skin. You can take the simplest L’Oreal tonics, or even buy rose water at the pharmacy.
  4. Creams for hands and feet also do not require millions of investments. There are excellent options, a little more expensive - hemp. By the way, at one time I really liked foot creams from the Belarusian brand Belita Vitex - I probably bought six types of them then.
  5. Shower gels are what you can always find in the mass market! Of course, we all love to pamper ourselves subtle aromas L'Occitane and The Body Shop, but very pleasant fragrances can be found in, for example. And I also discovered my new favorites - in our usual “Girlfriends”.

I will also mention body scrubs. For many years my favorite was the scrub (it's for those who like it rough), but it's been remade again. I hope it hasn’t gotten worse: I checked - the abrasive particles there are still made of crumbs apricot kernel, I really love this.

Uff, this is a very long text, but I hope it’s useful. What are your favorites? Or, on the contrary, would you like some more detailed advice from me?
