Where foam often occurs. Faberlic Bath Cream Foam Tender Touch with Coconut Milk and Milk Proteins - “You can never have too much foam!!! A good product, but the aroma could be more interesting!” What is one-component polyurethane foam

Good day to everyone who stopped by to see me!!!

I'm watching the series "La Creme" at Faberlic, obviously "didn't go". Well, how else can you explain the endless promotions and discounts on these products.

Initially, quite expensive gels, foams and “creams” are now sold in sets, for 200rub two positions, gel + foam, or cream + foam.

Now Faberlic is actively “hanging out” with the series, trying, at least under the guise of a mega-sale, to “sell” its miracle products to a gullible buyer.

In systems with unalloyed or lightly alloyed oil fillers, foam is usually barely formed. However, the higher the oil, the more foaming it will produce. To counteract this, the oils are already equipped with anti-foam additives, which are mostly silicone based during production. Be careful when mixing various types added oils. Even if oils are approved for the same application or meet the same specification, this does not mean that they are also “compatible” with each other.

If a low additive oil is mixed with a highly added product, foaming may occur. If synthetic oil is mixed with mineral oil, surface tension may change. Oil analysis quickly finds the cause. Basically, a complete oil change occurs. To avoid these costly steps, make sure the oils don't mix! Proper lubrication management is the best insurance.

I've been buying this foam for two years now, every couple of months, and I've never seen these products sold at full price.

Included cost of foam: about 89 rubles, "alone" 100-116 rubles,

Volume: 250 (ml), which is not very much for foam,

Country of origin: Russia.

Bottle quite nice to look at, but there are not enough “stars from the sky”. The brand has a design that is more interesting.

Foam inhibitors are polar combinations of drugs with an oil-soluble fraction. Silicone agents are known. But not every foam inhibitor contains silicon as an element. Antifoam additives are added specifically to lubricants during production. They interrupt the cohesive forces of oil molecules and reduce surface tension. Thus, " oil leather» The bubbles become thinner, they break more easily and the tendency to foam decreases. If excessive foaming occurs during operation, antifoam additives can be filtered out.

Cap and dispenser

Everything is great here!

The lid is durable, the dispenser is excellent, economical, which is quite important in modern realities. You can’t pour a lot of foam out of a container at one time, unlike Avon's bottles that are trying to splash more!!!

Which polyurethane foam should I choose? Household or better professional?

End users should not supplement as overdosing may also be counterproductive. The polar active substances of the foam inhibitor provide the potential for binding with air and oxygen, the oil rises faster. Reduced interfacial tension reduces the size of air bubbles in the oil itself, that is, below the oil surface. In principle, caution should be exercised when adding antifoaming agents later! Only lubricant analysis quickly clarifies the condition of the oil and its additives.

Consistency: The same as the gel from this series. Creamy and buttery. It doesn’t look very aesthetically pleasing on the hand, it’s like a prop from some kind of porn movie, so I won’t attach a photo)))

Aroma: Cool!!! Very natural Raphael, bounty-shaped. Smells fresh coconut milk, and coconut oil!

Polyurethane foam and its properties

Foam represents, for example, rinse or bath water, a collection of soap bubbles. For a soap bubble, we need soap or, in general, surfactants, since they are also found in detergent. What's special about surfactants? We know that there are two types of liquids: those that mix well with water - such as alcohol - and those that do not mix with water - this includes fat and vegetable oil.

Two-component polyurethane foam

Soap or surfactants now have the peculiarity that they have two sides: a "water-loving" side and a rather "oily" side that turns away from water. If you put a drop detergent into the water, then immediately spread it like a very thin film over the surface of the water. In this soap film, the water-loving side of the individual molecules now points toward the water, and the “fat” side points toward the water, which is up. If we stir this surface, the foam will form in the form of many soap bubbles.

True, it seems to me that a mono-aroma - this is some kind of yesterday. It’s strange why the manufacturer didn’t mix the scents of coconut and almond, or coconut and vanilla, it would have been much more interesting!

Is there a lot of foam? It seems to me that there can never be too much foam! It’s difficult to overdo it, but a small drop of product is enough for the bubbles to fill the entire bathtub!

You can imagine this when you think about the bubbles that children produce: they envelop the “blow ring” in soapy water, so that a thin skin of soapy water forms in the ring. The difference with the wash water surface is that the soap film surrounds the blow ring skin on both sides - like a sandwich. There is a film of soap on the outside and water inside. And when you blow, a soap bubble is created.

So the skin of a soap bubble is made up of three layers: the inside and outside of the soap, so the surfactant is between the water. What makes it a nearly perfect ball is that the ball is the most economical shape: for a given amount of trapped air, the ball needs the least amount of surface area.

How long does the foamy bliss last: Not long, 20-30 minutes, and it seems like you need to add more.

It’s not suitable for those who like to relax for hours, but it’s just right for me. I don’t really like to wash off the foam left after taking a bath and scrub the bathtub.

No, but if you let in extra water you will hit the surface of the soapy water and air will get trapped under the surface of the water. This air doesn't stay there for a long time, but rises in the form of bubbles. When these bubbles penetrate the surface of the water, they do the same thing as bubbles: they take a soapy film of water to the surface and form it into a bubble.

The reason is that with foam many bubble, which arise first, immediately grow together. And then nature saves again. And so many bubbles irregular shape are created in foam. The fact that the foam disappears is explained by the fact that the skin of the bubbles consists of soapy water.

Question from a TV viewer-experts: I'm incredibly interested in why the foam is moisturizing. What should it moisturize when dissolved in water? And why is foam suddenly creamy?

I suspect it's Faberlic as always, I overdid it, their tea rejuvenates and the shadows refresh something and the pads prevent something. Such multifunctional tools))))

How not to make a mistake in choosing: main points

This soapy water flows down slowly, causing the bubbles to disintegrate. Is it the same with beer foam? Physical principle similar, but the foam causes not only disturbances on the surface of the beer in the glass, but also rising air bubbles. After all, beer contains carbon dioxide, and these air bubbles contain protein-containing substances that are found in the beer when they rise. This is the second difference: the skin of the bubbles in beer foam is not made of soapy water, but of a protein-containing substance. This almost always happens with food.

Verdict: One star for the economical packaging, a second for the coconut aroma, a third and a fourth for the quantity and quality of the foam.

Suitable for: Those who like a quick and efficient bath, those who love to soak in the foam for hours, the product will last for a couple of days!!!

Today, not a single self-respecting repairman can do without polyurethane foam. However, many people have no idea what this sealant is. Polyurethane - even a common person, far from chemistry, constantly encounters this material in everyday life. An ordinary sponge for washing dishes, a plastic mixer body, a hand towel - all this can be made of polyurethane.

When we cook rice or beat eggs - almost always when it foams during cooking, whites are involved. But the physics is the same. The red-yellow that we see on fire in a magazine or in a candle is nothing more than glowing soot. Thus, the color comes only from heat, which causes the soot particles to glow. It is related to the combustion process itself only if combustion provides heat. Because what happens if we burn wood or - in candle wax?

Polyurethane foam is a close relative of the same washing sponge. Inside the can there is not the polyurethane itself, but a prepolymer. By releasing the contents of the can into the wild, you will begin the process of converting the prepolymer into a polymer - polyurethane foam. The transformation is accompanied by the expansion of foam, which fills all the voids and hardens. High-quality foam can expand 2-3 times. Hardening is only possible in an environment with moisture and air. By the way, if you want to speed up the hardening process, moisten the surface on which you plan to apply the foam, and after applying it, regularly spray the surface.

Attention - spaghetti effect

In both cases, the carbon contained in it is oxidized, i.e. it combines with oxygen in the air. This creates either the infamous carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide as waste products, i.e. gases. This chemical reaction. Why is the protein initially cloudy clear and turns white when beaten, fried or cooked? In foaming and cooking, these are essentially two phenomena in which egg whites have several various reasons. First of all, for cooking: these are the proteins in the egg white.

In addition to the prepolymer, the cylinder contains a propellant - a gas, which displaces the contents of the cylinder out. Quite often, especially in cases with unscrupulous manufacturers, the gas runs out before the prepolymer. In this case, all that remains is to throw away the can. Polyurethane foam is used not only as a sealant, but also as a heat insulator; it is also used to make soundproofing coatings. In some cases, it can also be used as a binding material, for example, when gluing foam plastic or PVC sheet panels. If you prime the base surface and it is not polyethylene, Teflon or cellophane, to which the foam does not have adhesion, then the panels will lie tightly.

They are usually present in the form of globules and are surrounded by water. The air we breathe consists of only one-fifth oxygen and almost four-fifths nitrogen. 100 percent oxygen would be a completely different situation. However, this is not a problem in the short term - pure oxygen is also used in emergency medicine. Even in spaceships and oxygen is present in divers' oxygen cylinders, according to at least, in increased concentration. That is, a person temporarily stops it.

This all refers to a material that, when pressed, slowly returns to its shape. It is currently used in the modern mattress. Memory foam reacts to the body and ambient temperature. The more the material heats up, the smoother it becomes. Many mattress manufacturers use it as a weight distribution material. The number of pressure points is reduced and the open cell structure ensures good ventilation.

Polyurethane foam does not conduct electricity and is resistant to moisture, so it can be completely safely used when decorating a bathroom. When choosing a sealant, carefully look at the markings:

B1 – this is how material that is resistant to fire is marked.

B2 – self-extinguishes when ignited.

B3 – lit.

It's obvious that best choice it will be B1, in extreme cases B2.

Memory foam mattress provides comfort

A memory foam mattress is often perceived as a soft mattress. However, if the mattress is too soft, it may be difficult to lift up. It is for this reason that memory foam is almost always combined with other materials. Although the memory foam in most regular mattresses is upper layer, at Matt we chose foam as the middle layer. This avoids the well-known problem that memory foam's adaptive capacity wraps around your body and can get very hot.

Polyurethane foam also has disadvantages that should be kept in mind. One of the most important and striking is the fear of ultraviolet radiation. Under the influences sun rays the foam turns yellow, darkens and collapses. It’s easy to get rid of this drawback - cover the seam sealed with foam with a layer of putty or at least paint it over.

Cylinders with material must be stored in a cool, dark place, away from heat sources. There is always a high voltage inside the cylinder, which becomes even greater under the influence of heat. If the balloon explodes, everything nearby will at least lose its attractiveness. appearance or it will become completely unusable. It is very difficult to wash off the foam, especially if it has already hardened. The cylinders often come with a solvent for cleaning the gun, but it is effective as long as the material has not hardened. Frozen foam You can remove it from the skin with a piece of pumice, after steaming the skin.

Therefore, we only use the advantages and we do not violate the disadvantages. Memory foam is very heat sensitive and also responds to body heat. Memory foam is usually quite durable, but once it heats up, the material deforms and gives you a luxurious comfort experience. Memory foam also feels firmer in winter than in summer. Matt has a 4cm layer of latex on top of the memory foam. The result is that you get the comfort of memory foam without the drawbacks.

Combined polystyrene foam mattress

Both the memory foam and latex top layer have an open cell structure. The air of the layers is very good and no one gets hot. Latex and memory foam complement each other well. Latex is very elastic and has a natural elasticity. Memory foam ensures that you don't sink into the mattress so that pressure points are displaced. Heavier parts of the body are better supported than lighter ones. Matt consists of three layers. The first layer is a layer of latex. The 4-layer latex layer is very comfortable and breathable.

As you already know, air humidity plays a major role in the hardening process of the material. Cold winter air will have much lower humidity than summer air, so don't be surprised if the foam hardens slowly. To speed up processes in winter, manufacturers add special additives to the prepolymer that are not needed for regular foam. Therefore, when purchasing, pay attention to the seasonality of the material. In addition to summer and winter, you can find universal foam.

Why Matt is the best mattress

He offers perfect support and temperature. This makes Matt more comfortable and when combined with latex, it provides perfect support and a delicious night's sleep. This layer serves as the base of the mattress. Overall, this makes Matt the best value mattress!

Comfortable memory foam mattress

Don't worry, you can try Matt free at home for 100 days. We think you can't decide in the next 5 minutes, if you want to lie on this mattress for the next 10 days, you should try Matt for 100 days in your bed.

Summer is indicated by the inscription “from +5 °C to +35 °C”. This only means that the operating temperature of the atmosphere and surface must be within these limits if you want to obtain rapid polymerization. The temperature resistance of already hardened foam has completely different limits and is the same for all types. The lower temperature limit of polyurethane foam is -50 °C, the upper limit is +90 °C.

Matt is good at his job

No matter where you place Matt, he will always offer you comfort. Since Matt is well ventilated and breathable, it is not a problem to place Matt on the floor. Matt always promises you restful sleep. The main product that we offer on the Bulgarian market in the field of insulation is polyurethane foam. Polyurethane spray - for thermal, hydro and sound insulation, applied to the site by spraying. In addition, we offer polyurethane systems for industrial applications - for sandwich panels, water heater insulation, etc. Anti-abrasive and anti-corrosion coatings made of polyurethane elastomers and polyurea.

That is, all polyurethane foam frost-resistant, but not for every winter – best time for use.

Winter polyurethane foam has a lower working mark of -18 °C. Universal foam is middle option between summer and winter, and allows you to work at -10 ° C. If for some reason you have to use the material outside its scope temperature regime, then at a minimum, warm up the can before use, or even better, warm up the room. This will allow you to constantly rehydrate the foam without the risk of creating an icy crust on top of the polymer.

It is important to remember that the lower the temperature, the less volume of foam you will get after expansion and spraying. For example, from a 300 ml cylinder on a warm summer day you will get all 30 liters of sealant, but if you use the same cylinder at zero temperature, the volume will decrease by 5 liters. At -10 °C there will be half as much foam.

Polyurethane foam is divided into professional and household. The quality may not differ; the way the material comes out of the cylinder will differ. In the case of professional cylinders, a mounting gun is additionally required; household cylinders are equipped with a disposable tube. However, given the low cost mounting gun(for work in small volumes it will be enough to purchase a gun for 400-800 rubles), using inconvenient disposable tubes is unprofitable.

In addition, manufacturers often allow themselves to produce low-quality material in household cylinders, which has a high expansion coefficient, an insufficient amount of propellant to fully use the prepolymer, and less tightness. It makes sense to buy a household option if the amount of work is very small, for example, you need to seal a gap. You will probably still have a lot of unused sealant left.

The whole problem with its further use is that the prepolymer remaining in the tube will harden after some time, and further use of the cylinder will be impossible. To remove any remaining material from the tube, you can use a little trick - let the can sit quietly for a few minutes, and then vertical position Press the cap with the flap up. Only a stream of gas will flow into the tube, which will clear it of residual material. A professional gun is cleaned of material residues with special solvents. It is better to buy collapsible options, they are easier to clean.
