A professional’s arsenal usually includes 30-40 exercises for facial massage with lymphatic drainage and osteopathic effects. Below are 10 basic exercises to perform at home. Exercises are performed with both hands. Below you will find video lessons that clearly demonstrate the Zogan (Asahi) technique performed by Yukuko Tanaka.

So, apply the massage base evenly to the face and proceed:

❶ Smooth out wrinkles on the forehead.
With effort we press the pads of the index and middle fingers to the middle of the forehead and move towards the temples. From the temples we go to the points under the earlobes. Total: 4-5 times;

❷ We remove the double chin, smooth out the nasolabial folds.
Using the pads of your middle fingers, press the central part of the chin and evenly stretch the skin towards the nasolabial fold in the nose area. We press on the nasolabial folds, hold our fingers for 3-4 seconds and return to the starting position. Total: 4 times;

❸ Getting rid of swelling and circles around the eyes.
With the middle finger we stretch the skin from the outer corners of the eyes to the inner ones, and then with a little more pressure we move from the inner corners of the eyes to the temples along lower eyelid. Total: 5-6 times;

❹ Remove folds in the nose area.
Press down with middle and index fingers onto the wings of the nose and move in the area of ​​the nose, as if drawing an infinity sign. We stop at the wings of the nose and stretch the skin towards the ears. Total: 6-8 times;

❺ Smooth out the folds in the corners of the mouth.
We press the skin above the upper lip quite firmly, move around the mouth, then move towards the upper jaw and then towards the lower eyelids, press there and hold your fingers for several seconds. After this, we move to the ears, slightly reducing the pressure on the skin. Total: 3-4 times;

❻ Strengthen the muscles and skin in the cheek area, eliminate jowls.
Press your chin with one palm. With the middle and index fingers of the second hand, we press on the point between the upper and lower jaws, and then move diagonally up to the eyes, and from there also diagonally down. We change the position of the hands and repeat the massage on the other side of the face. Total: 4 times on each side;

❼ Lifting for facial skin.
We rest our chin on the pads of our fingers, press with force with our palms and lift the skin up, just above the temples, lightly touching our ears with our palms. Total: 5-6 times;

❽ We tighten the oval of the face, remove the double chin.
Place your chin on your palms and, pressing hard, lift the skin to the sides of your ears. Total: 8 times;

❾ Strengthen the facial muscles in the chin area.
Place your palms in front of your face and spread your elbows to the sides. Press your nose with your fingers and rest your chin on your thumbs. Now we need to massage in a circular motion chin area for a few minutes;

❿ Smooth out wrinkles on the forehead. Using the middle and index fingers of each hand, massage the forehead from the center to the temples. Total: 6-8 times.
