After this, we lower our slider into very warm water, the temperature does not matter, but many argue that the slider stretches better in warm water, but I always soak it in ordinary room water from a filter, at this stage it is very important not to wet the slider completely, NOT try to dip it in water so that it lies at the bottom. Just lower it onto the surface of the water and you will see how it curls up a little at the edges, after 5 -10 seconds we can take out our slider and place it on a clean cotton pad. If you are afraid that your slider will get wet, you can do it differently and not put the slider in water, but simply put it on a wet cotton pad. This, of course, will lengthen the soaking time to 1 minute, but our slider will still easily come away from the substrate (the disc should be wet, water should not flow from it in a stream)
Next we thin layer, rubbing movements, retreating from the cuticle and side ridges by about half a mm, apply the base, and we don't dry it! Very important point- we move our picture onto the wet base. The most important thing here: try not to fidget with your fingers, a brush or anything similar, just take your pusher and with a hatchet, with the nose itself, gently pull it in different sides to remove wrinkles.
If you have an extra piece of slider left near the cuticle or side ridges, it can also be easily removed after drying. There is no need to try to tear anything off or cut it with scissors, just straighten your slider and send it to dry in the lamp. If you have a UV lamp, then dry for 3 minutes, if you have an LED or hybrid, then dry for 1 minute.
A very important note: if you were unable to remove 1-2 folds evenly and they still remain, but do not affect the drawing in any way, leave them, with the next layer we will hide them and they will not be noticeable at all.
After our nail has dried, we can remove all the excess of our slider with a 180 grit file for natural nails. First, we file the free edge at an angle of 90 degrees, from top to bottom.
After this, movements from the cuticle to free edge we file down the side ridges, and if we have excess near the cuticle, then with a pusher/spatula we kind of push a piece of the slider towards the cuticle, after which we use a hatchet from one sinus (corner) to another to clean off the remains, they are easily removed, use absolutely no force no need.
While you are removing all unnecessary things, it is very important to prevent our finger from coming into contact with the surface of the slider design. If you have any crumbs, sawdust or something else on the slider, then gently brush them away without pressing.
After you have removed everything, you need to cover our nail again with the base, a thin layer, but no longer rubbing it in. If you are able to go with your own brush from the base under the cuticle, that’s great, but I always take a thin brush and go under the cuticle with it and, pulling back the side rollers, seal our slide design.
And at this stage, all your folds, if there were any, will become completely invisible. After that, we send it back to the lamp and dry it like a regular layer.
Next, we need to complete our coverage and cover it with two layers of top, I repeat, girls, two. Don’t skimp on the top, let your layers be thin, barely noticeable, but they will be there and they will protect our slider from water, chemicals and others external influences.
After which we remove the sticky layer and our manicure is ready.
If you think that the coating will look thick due to the abundant number of layers, then do not be afraid, the coating will look like a regular coating, well, maybe like a coating with leveling.
2 mounting method simplified
It is advisable to use it with healthy and strong nails. With this method, the most common complaint is about detachments or cracks in the slider design. I will tell you a few secrets of such fastening.

After this, you can remove all excess in the same way as I described in previous method and cover your slider with two layers of top, again do not neglect the top, because the top is an excellent protective agent.
And now I'll tell you little tricks that will help you carry our slider even longer:

Using sliders is not difficult, but the application technology differs depending on which nails act as the base. So, for example, it is very easy to glue ready-made designs onto natural ones under varnish, but when adding extensions you will have to follow several basic rules.
Under varnish
The free edge is shaped with a nail file, and the surface is carefully sanded to even out all possible bumps. First, a transparent and self-leveling manicure base is applied and allowed to dry. Then, if thick sliders are used, a base color varnish is applied. It must also dry out, otherwise it will smudge when gluing the decor. The stickers themselves for the slider design are moistened with water, then carefully separated from the paper on which they were held.
Apply base layer nail polish. If you printed the drawing yourself on special paper he needs to be flogged clear varnish. If you have ready-made kits, you can skip this step.
The top transparent layer should move easily (if this does not happen, keep it in the water a little longer). Place it on the nail plate using tweezers.
When the slider is completely dry, apply the finishing coat. Do not use a product to quickly dry the varnish!

Under gel polish
The technology for applying sliders under gel polish is not much different from the technology for applying under varnish. Nails are prepared and covered with the selected material. Before peeling off the base, the picture is first cut to the size of the nail plates. If it is used for extensions, then it is worth retreating 0.5 mm from each edge so that the material can catch on natural nails, rather than slipping off after a few hours or days. In varnish execution this is an optional step. The pattern is distributed from the cuticle to the free edge so that there are no air bubbles between the pattern and the plates.
