Nutritional Assessment

Hydration
Experts determined the moisturizing effect using a corneometer, special device, which measures skin moisture. This trial was carried out on 20 women with different skin types. The indicator was measured at different time intervals after application. Tests have shown that Nivea cream has the greatest moisturizing ability, L'Oreal and Garnier have slightly less. Nevskaya Cosmetics, Himalaya Herbals and Natura Siberica creams showed average results.
Package
Among the presented samples there are three types of packaging: jars, tubes and a bottle with a vacuum dispenser. We believe that it is most preferable last method packaging (Natura Siberica) - it allows cosmetics to be stored longer, without adding excessive amounts of preservatives. Creams in tubes (“Nevskaya Cosmetics”) - middle option, will not protect cosmetics as reliably as vacuum packaging, but it is better than creams in jars, which are more vulnerable to bacteria. By the way, as a rule, manufacturers take this into account and add more preservatives to such a product so that the cosmetics do not deteriorate. The main active ingredients of the cream are olive, peach oils, vitamin E and lanolin. They provide the main nutritional and softening properties of the cream. Olive oil contains fatty acids, vitamin E and iron, which are necessary for skin nutrition and regeneration. In addition, it can act as an antioxidant, which means it can slow down aging. Peach oil, according to experts, even surpasses olive oil in nutritional value. It contains macro- and microelements, vitamin B1 and a complex of amino acids - all these are important nutritional components that should be present in every cream. Lanolin is especially worth noting. It effectively softens and moisturizes the skin; it is often added to healing creams and balms. However, according to some studies, it can cause the formation of comedones - blackheads. The advantage of the composition is that it does not contain potentially allergenic fragrances, which are often added to creams, but we found a preservative, methylisothiazolinone, in the composition, which can cause irritation to sensitive skin.

Composition and nutritional properties. According to experts, the cream has moderate nutritional activity. Main active ingredients: shea butter, allantoin, rose extract and vitamin E. Shea butter is best known as an emollient, but it can also nourish the skin. It contains macroelements, amino acids and fatty acids, which are necessary for the proper functioning of skin cells. Rose extract gives the cream a pleasant aroma, so no other fragrances were added. But the aroma in rose water- that's not all, studies have shown bactericidal properties. Tannins included in the composition provide tanning properties, anthocyanins strengthen blood vessels. It is worth considering that cosmetics with rose extracts may not be suitable for people with sensitive skin due to irritation essential oils. Composition and nutritional properties. The main nutritional ingredients of the cream are hydrolyzed soy proteins, squalene and extract. They provide nutrition and hydration to the skin. Jasmine extract is a source of coumarins, essential oils and flavonoids, therefore it can be used as an antidepressant and antiseptic. It provides the product with a pleasant floral scent, but manufacturers did not limit themselves to this and added several more aromatic fragrances. Please note that these are potentially irritants and may not be suitable for people with sensitive skin. Most of it contains squalene, an oil found in human skin, liver and olives. It softens the skin and has antioxidant and immunostimulating properties. Methylparaben and phenoxyethanol are added to the product as preservatives; these are safe components in small quantities. In our opinion, the set of vitamins and microelements in the cream is poorer than in other samples, so it is less nutritious, but will do a good job of softening the skin.

My skin becomes like this somewhere at the end of autumn and continues to lose moisture until mid/late spring. It so happened that the cream arrived to me while there was still snow, but at that time I had another facial treatment (I recently wrote about it) and I decided not to use anything new for now, in order, so to speak, to feel the effect of what - one thing.
I discovered this cream in mid-May, when the sun was already getting pretty hot, as it contains filters that are necessary in the warm season.
As I already said, the consistency is quite thick, I use a very small pea amount for the whole face - otherwise it becomes a little heavy on the skin. It spreads easily and is not absorbed very quickly - within 10-15 minutes. It is not felt at all on the skin afterwards and does not conflict with foundations.
The cream really nourishes the skin very well, relieves redness a little, I don’t feel suffocated in it, and the presence of UV filters is good news. I have been using it as day care for the last two weeks, during which time I have not noticed any flaking or dryness. The leather is really soft to the touch. Good cream, no miracles, but it copes with the stated functions. In extreme heat, I think it will still be hard for me under it.
