Perfume making process
Any perfume consists of three phases of action. Each phase is composed of aromas, depending on the durability of the essential oils:

Apply a drop of essential oils belonging to this group to the signed strips of photographic paper. Mix all ingredients and place in a dark place. Lightly shake the contents daily. After a week, strain and add:
- 30 drops of orange oil;
- 4 drops of lavender oil;
- 3 drops of neroli oil.
Then let the scent mature in a dark place for three weeks.

Beeswax - 50%
Liquid oil odorless (jojoba, almond) - 50%
Essential oils.
In order to get 10 g of solid perfume, I took 5 g of wax, 5 g of jojoba oil and 15 drops of essential oils.
How to compose a scent?
For perfume, you can use one favorite essential oil or a mixture of several (up to 7) oils. Before composing a composition of several aromas, it is advisable to check the compatibility of essential oils using special tables on the Internet. There you can also select the composition according to its therapeutic effect (relaxing, stimulating, aphrodisiac).
Aromas are divided into groups: floral, woody, citrus, spicy, resinous, exotic.

heavy ones in 2-3 hours, and some in 5-6 hours.
For my perfume I chose the following composition of floral-woody aphrodisiac oils (with a duration of more than 3 hours):
rose essential oil - 5 drops
Jasmine essential oil - 1 drop
sandalwood essential oil - 1 drop
cedar essential oil - 5 drops
Frankincense essential oil - 3 drops.
I made the second batch of perfume (for a friend) from the ready-made perfume composition “5th Avenue” by Elizabeth Arden. These oil mixtures are made by the Crimean enterprise “The Kingdom of Aromas”. For 10 g of foundation I used one 1.3 g bottle.
I took a picture of rosewood oil, but during the magic process I gave up the idea of adding it) I didn’t like the smell)))
Procedure for preparing solid perfumes.
Using an electronic scale, measure 5 g of jojoba oil, this is about a tablespoon.
Jojoba oil is a stable oil, it does not go rancid for a long time and does not leave greasy shine on the skin, anti-inflammatory agent. Due to its ability to create a thin gas-permeable film on the skin, it is called liquid wax.
Grate the beeswax on a fine grater (so that it melts quickly and without lumps). Wax, like oils, is sold in specialized soap shops or in markets where they sell natural honey. Wax has bactericidal, wound-healing properties and is a natural preservative. You don’t need to add toxic preservatives to your own prepared perfumes; thanks to wax, their shelf life is at least 6 months.
Place the wax and oil in a heat-resistant cup (a ceramic cup will also work) and heat in a water bath. When heated, the wax and oil mix and turn into a homogeneous liquid. No need to boil! Quickly add essential oils to the hot mixture and stir with a wooden toothpick. You can stir with a metal spoon, but because it is cold, cooling grains of base will immediately stick to it.
While the mixture is hot, pour it into a prepared bowl. Before use, thoroughly wash the cosmetic jar, wipe dry with a napkin and wipe with vodka to disinfect.
However, you can use a method already familiar to us. Draw 5 ml of hot mixture into syringes. Cool the syringes in the refrigerator. Cut off the tip of each syringe and squeeze the frozen column of waxy mixture into an empty lipstick case. Compact solid perfume is ready!

- "high - head of spirits"- the aroma that we feel in the first 5-30 minutes - the lightest essential oils (lemon verbena, lime, bergamot, grapefruit, mint, basil, tangerine);
- "heart of spirits"- this aroma of essential oils evaporates within 12-24 hours - this is the basis of the aroma of perfumes (myrtle, ylang-ylang, rosemary, oregano, nutmeg, palmarosa, juniper, cypress);
- “perfume base – bottom note”- a very persistent scent that lasts the longest (sandalwood, jasmine, patchouli, neroli, rose, myrrh, vanilla, clove).
To get the desired aroma, cut paper into thin strips, drop a drop of oil on each piece of paper and sign them (so as not to forget). Cross paper strips among themselves and choose the scent that suits you.
Mix 1 tbsp. spoon of crushed beeswax with 1 tbsp. spoon of almond (or other) oil, place in a water bath until the wax completely melts (do not boil the wax). While the wax is melting, mix the selected essential oils a few drops in a separate bowl. When the wax is completely melted, remove it from the heat and quickly pour in the mixture of essential oils (15-20 drops), stirring, and immediately pour into the prepared containers for the finished perfume. Do this quickly as the wax hardens instantly. After 30 minutes, your unique aroma is ready.
