Crochet doll flared dress for beginners. Crochet knitted dolls and various clothes for them

Do you like lace, fluffy skirts and dresses? I am very! But fiddling with frills and sewing machine I don’t always want to 🙂 Let’s try to combine lace and crochet?

For knitting with lace we will need yarn, I used cotton yarn Violet from YarnArt (50 g / 282 m), 1.5 mm hook and lace.

It is better to take extra lace. It took me about 4.5 m for the first skirt, 5.4 m for the second. Width white lace 3 - 3.5 cm, and pink - 4 - 4.5 cm

In descriptions I use the following abbreviations:

V.p. - air loop

RLS - single crochet

PSBN - half single crochet

Dc - single crochet

Prop. - skip

Track. - next

Row 1: We form the first row of lace frill by sewing a chain stitch through the lace:

1. Tuck the edge of the lace and insert the hook into the first hole of the lace through both fabrics, insert the hook from top to bottom (from the front side to the back).

2. Pick up the thread and pull the loop to the front side.

3. Step back 1.3 cm on the lace and insert the hook from top to bottom into the hole of the lace, pick up the thread and pull the loop up, pull it through the 1st loop.

Repeat step 3 119 more times. At the end of the row, before performing the last loop, cut off the lace and turn the edge to the wrong side, and perform the last one. p. through both canvases, connect a row of PSBN.

In total there are 120 stitches in a row and the lace consumption is 1.8 m.

Row 2: 3 v.p. (counts as the 1st CCH), 1 dc in each stitch, it is better to insert the hook behind the upper wall of the stitch, connect.

Row 3: 3 ch, 1 dc in each stitch, connect.

Row 4: 3 ch, dc in next. 3 p., 2 dc with a common top, * dc in the next. 4 sts, 2 dcs with a common top * – 19 times, connect. (100 SSN)

Row 5: We form the second row of lace frill, making a chain stitch through the lace and loops of the 4th row:

1. Tuck the edge of the lace, remove the hook from the loop and insert it into the first hole of the lace through both fabrics, insert the hook from top to bottom (from the front side to the wrong side).

3. Back off 1.3 cm on the lace and insert the hook from top to bottom into the lace hole, then into the next. p. row, pick up the thread and pull the loop up, pull it through the 1st loop. Repeat this step until the end of the row.

Total in the row - 100 stitches. At the end of the row, before performing the last loop, cut off the lace and turn the edge to the wrong side, and perform the last one. p. through both canvases, connect a row of PSBN.

For the second frill I used 1.5 m of lace.

Rows 6 – 7: 3 ch, 1 dc in each stitch, connect. At the end of the 7th row - turn.

Row 8: in this row we open the circle - 3 ch, dc in the next row. 3 p. behind the back wall of the p., * 2 dc with a common top, dc in the next. 3 p.* – 19 times, dc next. n., dc in next. Turn 4 remaining half-stitches at the beginning of the row. (85 SSN)

Row 9: We form the third row of lace frill, making a chain stitch through the lace and loops of the 8th row:

1. 1 ch, sc in next. 5 p. (strap), tuck the edge of the lace, remove the hook from the loop and insert it into the first hole of the lace through both fabrics.

2. Pick up the working loop and pull it to the front side through the lace.

3. Back off 1.3 cm on the lace and insert the hook from top to bottom into the lace hole, then into the next. p. row, pick up the thread and pull the loop up, pull it through the 1st loop.

We continue knitting until the end of the row, before making the last loop, cut off the lace and turn the edge to the wrong side, and perform the last one. n. through both canvases, turn. The third frill took 1.2 m of lace.

Row 10:

Row 11: 3 ch, 1 dc in each stitch, turn.

Row 12: 3 ch, dc in next. 4 p., *2 dc with a common top, dc in the next. 2 p.* – 19 times, Dc next. 4 p., turn. (66 SSN)

Row 13: We form the fourth row of lace frill - knit as row 9. Lace consumption - 90 cm.

Row 14: 3 ch, 1 dc in each stitch, insert the hook behind the top half loop, turn.

Look video master class, which I wrote down for you to more clearly see the process of knitting with lace:

This is the result I got:

Personally, I really liked the process of knitting with lace; it turns out very quickly, beautifully and originally. Now it’s time to turn our skirt into a dress, watch the master class

Many of us have them left over from childhood and are carefully stored on cabinet shelves in boxes, in walls, and on mezzanines. We don’t dare throw them away, because they are our past. Looking at them, memories of distant days awaken and nostalgic feelings arise.

And you are doing the right thing in doing this, because all you have to do is dress up a little and in front of you is a completely new, elegant and previously unfamiliar beauty. Many girls begin to try sewing doll dresses at about 10 years of age. Dolls are very important in their lives during this period. important role. But today, alas, we will not sew dresses. If you know how to crochet, I want to show you how to crochet a dress and a hat for your dear doll.

Necessary materials:

1. Yarn yellow color(100% acrylic).

2. Melanged yarn (100% acrylic).

3. Hook 2.5.

Master class on knitting a dress and hat for a doll.

Types of loops: air loop, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, connecting loop.

Abbreviations used in the text:

V.p. - air loop;

S.b.s. - single crochet;

P.s.n. - half double crochet;

S.Sc. - double crochet;

Conn.p. - connecting loop.

Note. You can use yarn of any color, but not very dense. In principle, cotton thread will also work. You will need little material, just 10-20 grams of each color. So, if you still have some questions necessary threads, then don’t throw them away - they will always come in handy.

Completing of the work.

We put 43 ch on the hook with a yellow thread. + 3 loops for lifting. Make the chain as tight as possible. The number of loops depends on the size of your doll. By the way, such a dress can be knitted small child, about 3 months old. You just need to increase the number of loops. Leave the knitting pattern for dolls unchanged.

We knit the next row with s.n.

We change the thread. We knit the second row of d.c. as follows: *s.n., 2 s.n. in one loop of the previous row *. Repeat from * to *. At the end of the row we should have 64 loops.

Change the thread again and knit the 3rd row of dc. 4th row: *s.n., d.n., 2 d.n. in one loop of the previous row*. Repeat from * to *. Number of loops =

Let's move on to knitting the pattern. So, with a yellow thread we cast on 3 vp. for lifting. We knit the so-called “shells”: * 4 s.n. in one loop, skip 3 loops *. So to the end of the row.

Having knitted one row with a pattern, we form the sleeves. Counting down required amount loops for raglan and connect it to the back. I ended up with 10 “patterned shells” on each side of the sleeve. We knit another row.

In the third row from the beginning of the pattern, increase the number of loops. We had 4 double crochets, now we make 6. Thanks to this addition, the dress becomes flared. We knit to the end. There are about 7 rows in total. In principle, you can make it longer.

Change the thread and knit the last row of the pattern. We tie the edges and neck with half double crochets. The dress is almost ready. We sew on the buttons and thread the cord through the v.p.

We knit a hat. We put 5 ch on the hook. We combine them into a ring using a connector. We tie the ring 10 s.b.n. Next we knit in the round p.s. , making additions in every second loop. The diameter of the hat depends on the size of the doll's head. Therefore, try on the product and control its shape and size.

Having knitted the required width of the bottom of the cap, we halve the number of loops by knitting the next row of sc. + 5 rows p.s.

For a doll. What to do in such a situation? After all, the product must be very small. Everything is clear with the thickness of the yarn and the size of the hook; they should be as thin as possible. But what about the scheme? Which model should I choose to make it easy to knit and at the same time make crocheted doll dresses look no worse than store-bought ones?

Bodice

To shorten the description of how the work is performed, the following notations have been introduced:

A knitted dress is usually made fitted, so the bodice will almost always be the same. But the remaining elements will have significant differences. For example, the sleeve can be made short or long, wide or narrow. The description above shows a flashlight sleeve.

Sleeve

The entire product will not be sewn; the elements must be knitted onto those that already exist. To continue crocheting a dress for a doll, you need to do this: place the bodice with the wrong side facing you.

If you want to tie long sleeve, then you need to repeat the first row several times. And then finally knit the pattern that was indicated for the second row short sleeve. If you don’t want to sew the parts together, then here you will need to knit in the round.

Collar

You can leave the doll's dress without it. But with a collar it will look more impressive and elegant. So, to knit a collar on a dress (crocheted) for a Barbie doll, you need to cast on a chain of 70 loops, the first of which will be used for lifting.

In the first row you need to knit 69 BN columns. The second one must be knitted with the same elements and in the same quantity after one lifting loop. You only need to grab the back half-loops of the vertices of the previous row. In the same way, you need to knit 9 more rows.

In the eleventh row, after one chain stitch, knit 29 sc, repeat four times: two sc with one top and sc, then another 28 sc. The last row will play the role of a strapping. It starts with a BN column, then until the end of the row you need to repeat the following pattern: 3 air stitches, a decrease and a BN column.

For fastening, it is convenient to use a hook, which must be sewn to the ends of the penultimate row.

The fourth (largest) part of a doll's dress: skirt

This item of clothing may also vary. It can be large and wide or narrow and short. And someone will want to make the skirt of the dress long and tapered. Each time you will get a new special dress for the doll (crocheted). Scheme wide skirt is given below. First you need to put the bodice of the dress front side towards you and waist up. Then the work should be carried out according to the plan indicated below. Moreover, it is necessary to take into account that in each row or circle you need to make 4 loops for lifting.

  • Row 1: two dc2c in one loop (hereinafter referred to as “extension”) in 24 base stitches of the bodice and another dc2dc in the last top.
  • 2nd row: dc2dc, extension - must alternate until the end of the row, which should end with one dc2dc.
  • 3rd row: knitted similarly to the second, only an increase must be made every two dcs.
  • 4th row: now the addition is supposed to be done every three double stitches.
  • Gradually increase the number of columns between additions until the ninth row. In it, the distance between additions should be 7 st2CH. Moreover, from the fifth row, knitting should go in a circle.
  • The 10th circle repeats the ninth.
  • 11th round of the doll's dress skirt: 8 dc2dc and one increase must be alternated to the end of the row, completed with one dc2dc.
  • The 12th round is supposed to be knitted in the same way as the eighth. The same will be 14, 16, 18-22.
  • Round 13: dc2dc in the base loop of the rise, 10 dc2dc and the increase must be alternated until the end of the row, 10 dc2dc.
  • In the 14th circle of the doll's dress skirt, knit 15 trebles with one increase, then repeat these elements until the end of the circle until there are 7 loops left, perform trebles in them.
  • The 17th circle consists only of dc2c, which are worked in back walls loops

This hem should be worn with a frame. It can be made from thick cardboard rings connected with thick threads. Make sure that the frame is not visible from under the hem. This skirt can already be left in this form, but the girls want to make decorations to make the dress for the doll elegant. For these purposes, you can use thin satin ribbons, collected in bows. The decoration can be crocheted lace or roses.

Frill at the hem

To make a crocheted dress for a Barbie doll look formal, a simple lace hem pattern will come in handy. To make it, you need to place the dress with the front side facing you and the hem up. Then find the circle where the 16th row ended. His front half-loops were left unknitted. The lace frill will be made on them.

Dress decoration: rose

It’s not enough to just know, you will also have to make decorations for it with crochet. On a chain of 24 loops, knit a sc in the 6th of them, then repeat until the end of the row - chain 3 and sc in the second loop. All that remains is to fasten the thread and fold the rosette, sewing it from the wrong side.

Included with the doll dress: hat

Knit 6 SS on a slip stitch. Then, gradually adding loops, make a circle. Its diameter should be about 3.5 cm. It should be followed by circles without adding. They will form the crown of the cap. Its fields should again be knitted with a large number of SS additions. Tie along the edge of the hat openwork pattern for lace frill. To make the hat look beautiful, it needs to be starched.

Crochet clothes for dolls will replenish the doll's wardrobe, will allow mothers and their daughters to come up with original scripts for home games with dolls. Miniature Barbies or chubby Baby Bon dolls want to be beautiful and irresistible, try on new outfits, and your daughter will simply be delighted with the new doll wardrobe that none of her friends have. Such games together with daughters have a positive effect on the early development of the child, teach her to take care of small children, develop independence, because, having learned to change baby dolls on her own, the daughter will very soon be able to dress herself, without the help of her parents.

Crochet clothes for dolls

If you have already mastered the simplest knitting skills, it will not cause you any difficulties. crochet clothes for dolls, patterns you can choose children's openwork dresses, shorts and hats, but reduce their sizes so that the product fits tiny Baby Bones.

Today you can find a huge variety of clothes for dolls in stores - for Baby Bon, for Barbie or Monster High, but parents don’t always want to spend money on such unnecessary thing, like a doll’s wardrobe, that’s why the needlewomen came up with the idea of knitting openwork skirts and dresses with their own hands. Little time is spent on creating such a product; if we talk about yarn, then you can use up the leftover threads for doll products. You can also learn to knit amigurumi technique, following our master class.

You do not need to take measurements, prepare patterns, just pick up the threads and hook and start knitting; at any time you can try on the product so as not to miss the size.

We chose a bright, elegant sundress for Baby Bon; you can knit the same sundress for your daughter, it is light and airy, with a fluffy skirt, so in summer it will be comfortable in hot weather. The baby will be able to push her beautifully dressed doll in a stroller down the street, showing off beautiful outfits, which my mother knitted with her golden hands.

We will start making the sundress with a tightly knitted strip that will go along the chest line. This part should fit snugly to the doll’s body, so it’s better to take a measurement - what is the circumference along the chest line, this is the length we have to knit the rectangle. You can choose any pattern, for example, the simplest one - double crochets, in this case you need to cast on 14 loops and knit about 38 rows. When will we knit this bar, we will not knit in the round, since this strap will later be fixed with Velcro so that the dress can be comfortably put on the baby.

You can also use leftover fabric, tulle, or fleece to create, and you can take patterns of things for babies as a basis, changing them.

Crochet: clothes for dolls

Clothes for dolls, crocheted , is the best way consolidating your knitting skills, for example, if you want to master new technology or learn new scheme, then it is better to consolidate the knowledge gained from the master classes in this way. The mini baby doll project won't suffer if you make a mistake, plus you'll likely be using leftover yarn for it, so you can always unravel and try again without worrying about the yarn fraying or pilling.

We will not take the simplest pattern for the front panel of our sundress; we will consolidate new skills, so we will choose a complex pattern of relief elastic. Having practiced making such a complex pattern today, you will be able to easily knit for your child in the future. stylish hat or a warm sweater, it is in these products that the ability to knit an elastic band is very important.

We need to get an even number air loops for the future rectangle. To move on to the second row, you need to insert the tool 4ch from the edge and start knitting the next row, making the usual s1n, this will allow you to further form beautiful pattern with an elastic band. To move to the next row of knitting, you will need to complete air loops lifting, since the main fabric will be represented by a relief column, the number of lifting loops will be equal to two.

For a relief column, you need to insert the tool under the column of the previous row from right to left. We will have purl and knit in a row relief columns, which will form an elastic band. As in the case of knitting, when the elastic is knitted with knit and purl stitches, their number in alternation can be different - 1x1, 2x2 or 3x3, the same rule applies to crocheting. In our case, for a doll's sundress, where the stretching of the front strap does not have of great importance, we will take a 1x1 alternation.

Crochet clothes for dolls

As we already said, you can choose any crochet, clothes for dolls it will still turn out beautiful, because its main decoration is a fluffy multi-layered skirt. A finished knitted rectangle can be tied with a “shell” using threads contrasting color, for example, the same as the future frill on the skirt, so that the whole product looks solid. Finally, we will sew two strips of Velcro along the edges of this rectangle. At the same time, when you tie it on three sides (you shouldn’t tie the bottom long edge with a frill), you need to immediately tie the straps. Alternatively, you can sew the straps on after finishing the knitting, if, for example, you want to make straps from thick elastic.

To crochet doll clothes, you can take leftover yarn, for a light sundress you need to choose a thin thread, for example, Iris bright colors. It will be impossible to take your eyes off such a product.

Now from the top bar of the rectangle you need to knit the dress down with fillet stitch. This mesh fabric will become the basis for future openwork frills. For each future frill we need to knit five rows fillet knitting, gradually making increases so that the fillet expands and the skirt becomes fluffy. We will only have three frills, so we need to knit 15 rows of fillet. After a couple of rows, the fabric can be joined and knitted in the round until the very end. If you don’t already know, fillets are simplest scheme: ss1n + 1vp + ss1n.

Crochet clothes for dolls with patterns turns out to be the most beautiful, so for the frills we tried to choose the most openwork pattern. In addition, it is very easy to perform and consists of simple columns.

Crochet clothes for dolls with patterns

So that you quickly learn how to do it crochet doll clothes, diagrams and descriptions we have prepared for you. Pay close attention to the diagram and step-by-step master class so as not to go astray, only then will your frills be beautiful. And with a little practice, you can already knit a children's sundress with a fluffy skirt for your daughter. Perhaps this idea will be useful to you if you want to knit an openwork skirt for your daughter.

You need to start knitting frills directly along the fillet: you need to select one row and start knitting along it according to the presented pattern. In the ch of the fillet we knit a sc, from it we dial 2 ch, skipping one cell of the fillet mesh, then we knit 4 dc1n into the next cell. You also need to knit 2 ch and, having skipped one cell, knit a sc in the next one. We get the following pattern: sc + 2 ch + 4 dc 1 n + 2 ch + sc, this sequence must be repeated until the end of the row, the first row should close in a circle.

In the next row, we need to knit a dc1n in each sc, and in 4 dc1n according to the following pattern: dc1n+ch+ss1n+ch+ss1n+ch+ss1n. In the next row, the pattern will be very simple, and your hand will finally have a rest: 2 ch + sc, all stitches must be knitted in the ch of the previous row. In the following: 2ch+sbn+2chn+sbn+ss1n+2ch, etc.

After this, we need to repeat the pattern of the very first row, and then make the main decoration of our frill - a large shell according to the pattern: ss1n + ch + ss1n + ss + ss1n + ss + ss1n, and near each ch we need to knit a small arch of 4 ch up.

And now that such an openwork sundress is ready, and other products that you will definitely knit in the future, you will also need a master class so that Baby Bon has her own closet, where all the things will be neatly folded.

Crochet clothes for Barbie doll

If you want to diversify Baby Bon's wardrobe, then knitted clothes for crochet dolls can be made according to any designs for children's products, the main thing is to reduce the size to a doll size. It’s a completely different matter when you have to knit a luxurious fancy dress or a summer sundress for a miniature Barbie.

Fashionista Barbie always wants to wear the most stylish things, and she also really likes her dress to fit her figure beautifully, and this is real difficult task for the knitter. Pay attention to our master classes if your daughter is a fan of dolls from the “School of Monsters” series.

In an openwork weightless ball gown Barbie will look like a real princess. To Crochet clothes for Barbie doll met your expectations, you should choose a thin cotton thread, for example, Turkish-made Canaris, which needlewomen love to use for knitted tablecloths and napkins. As a matter of fact, for a Barbie skirt, you can choose the design of a small round napkin, but enlarge the circle in the center so that the skirt can be put on the doll.

In order for a fluffy skirt to keep its “dome” shape, you can carefully starch it, but it is better to sew one petticoat from tulle and wear it under knitted products.

Since dresses must be fitted, it is not possible to knit the bodice in the round; it is knitted in a straight line, making decreases along the waistline and increases along the chest line, constantly trying it on according to the figure. At the back of the bodice, Velcro is sewn along the entire length on both sides. If you want to make straps, it is better to sew on straps that can be tied, since many Barbie heads cannot be removed.

Additionally, you can decorate the products with thin ribbons, ribbons, the finished skirt can be embroidered small beads, and then make a matching decoration on the neck and arm, and weave a tiara on the head.

You can crochet many beautiful products For dollhouse, for example, a blanket for the bed, pillow covers, light curtains and a round rug for the bedroom.

There is probably no girl who would not be happy with new clothes for her favorite dolls. Knitting is a great way to replenish your toy wardrobe. You don’t have to be an experienced craftswoman to learn how to knit a dress for dolls, which we will consider later, you just need to have the knowledge of a beginner and a great desire. Having learned to knit this simple basis, you can independently come up with and play with hundreds of designs.

A doll with a height of 41 cm was chosen as a model. We will knit the dress for this doll on circular knitting needles, we use the nursery acrylic yarn three colors - it is soft and inexpensive, easy to knit, perfect for toys and accessories. Leftovers will also work; you need about 30 grams of each color of yarn. For those who find it difficult to close loops with knitting needles, you will need a hook. If you want to do embroidery, as in the photo, then you need a needle with a wide eye. Well, buttons or Velcro as a fastener.

Let's get to work: knitting will go from the neck of the dress to the bottom, and the sleeves are not knitted separately, but will be made from the main fabric. This type is called "raglan". We cast on 36 loops on the knitting needles. We look at the diagram: 4 loops, indicated by circles, will be raglan.

Raglan scheme

1. Cast on 36 loops.

2. First row - purl loops. Next, in all front rows - knit stitches, in purl rows - purl stitches (you will get a knit stitch without patterns). Increases begin from the third row. In general, in each row of the front side, an increase is made to the left and right of the raglan loops. It turns out that in the third row 8 increases were made (two for each raglan loop) and there are already 44 loops on the knitting needles.

3. Using the same principle (making increases in each front row before and after the raglan loop), we continue to knit until, when trying on the doll, the part closes in the armpits.

4. As soon as the desired length is reached, from now on we stop adding loops. We knit the back and front in simple satin stitch, and close off the loops on the sleeves. The thread is not interrupted anywhere.

5. This is how it should turn out if everything was done correctly: the sleeves were shaped.

6. Now we move all the loops together and knit a straight fabric to the waist.

7. Take yarn of the second color. One row on the front side facial loops and on wrong side again a row of facial loops - this will create a relief strip.

8. In the row following the relief strip, we make increases every three loops. The hem of the skirt widens. Three rows later stockinette stitch we knit a row with increases. There are 10-15 rows just straight, depending on the desired length of the hem of the doll's dress.

9. Embossed stripe with yarn of a different color.

10. Row where every three stitches increase, and straight knitting until the very end, that is, the desired length. When finished, close the loops. I purled this so the edge ended up curling outward. The result is a wide piece that, when stitched, will miraculously turn into a dress.

11. We decorate the future dress knitted for the doll with yarn embroidery. Since it turned out to be quite simple, it would be nice to focus on decoration. The photo shows how to easily embroider flowers.

12. We complement the embroidery plot with beads and curls.

13. Fold the dress and sew the hem. We will arrange a fastener on the back. If you knitted a dress for a little girl, then Velcro would be best. Nowadays it is easy to find in any craft store. In my case, the girl already knows how to fasten buttons, so I use them. We sew buttons on one side and yarn loops on the other.

14. Admiring the finished dress. If necessary, wash and steam with an iron.
