First of all, blow up the balloons, one for each future balloon, and draw a circle on the top of the balloons where you will start winding the twine. Then apply to each ball thin layer Vaseline so that the twine does not stick to the balls.

Tie a piece of string to the end of each ball and wrap it around a support, in this case a block of wood. This will make it easier for you to work with hanging balls. Place something on the floor to avoid getting it dirty.

Now you need to prepare the adhesive solution. Take an old tray (you can use a disposable one) and mix PVA glue, a few teaspoons of cornstarch and warm water. The mixture should be homogeneous and not too liquid. There should be a lot of it, since the twine absorbs liquid very well.

This is the dirtiest stage of the work. Take the twine and dip it into the glue mixture until it is completely saturated. Then start wrapping it around the balls, vertically and horizontally, until you achieve the desired effect. Cut the end of the twine and tuck it under the one already wrapped around the ball to prevent it from dangling. Repeat with all the balls.

Leave the balls to dry overnight. They should harden by morning. If they are still soft, give them some more time to dry. The balls should begin to pop as they dry, but if they don't, pop them yourself and then remove them.

Now you can color the balls in desired colors and secure them to the garland. You can use transparent fishing line for this.

Today we will transform a faceless garland into a stylish and modern interior decoration. Such a prosaic thing as plastic cups will help you decorate your home in an original way for the holidays.

We will need:

• garland with non-heating bulbs;
• plastic cups (as many as the number of light bulbs in the garland);
• colored or wrapping, you can trim wallpaper;
• Double-sided tape;
• scissors;
• stationery knife.

First we need to make a template. To do this, take one plastic cup, cut off the bottom and top edging from it. Cut it lengthwise, carefully unrolling it and making it as flat as possible. Now we take sheets of paper and, according to the template, draw “shirts” on them for our garland.
