Take a closer look at the blackened grass sticking out from under the snow - this is exactly what we need! Angelica, quinoa, reed, yarrow... Real treasures! Do not be alarmed by their unsightly, far from festive appearance. Here is another opportunity to give free rein to your imagination and turn on the wizard in you. At home, dry the plucked herbs and transform them by painting them with light gouache or tempera, plating them with silver or gilding. It’s more convenient to do this with a spray can, but you can get by with a regular brush. And you will be happy!
Light plant elements, such as dried flowers or small twigs, can be secured by sticking them into special porous oases, a moss cushion or regular foam. The foam is attached to the base with wood glue. Pieces of moss, tinder fungi and individual twigs are secured in a similar manner. For massive branches, it is most convenient to use kenzan - a metal holder in the form of a lead plate with brass nails. If you can’t get your hands on real kenzan, at home you can replace it with a large potato tuber into which composite branches are stuck. If the basis for the composition is a wicker basket, its bottom should be lined with plastic wrap, and a holder should be placed on top and the bouquet should be carefully assembled.
Beautiful decorative candles will help add warmth and soulfulness to the New Year's arrangement. They go well with pine needles, cones, Christmas balls, natural pebbles, glass, and water. For the central figure we will need three pyramid-shaped candies. Their long tails need to be trimmed to make it easier to glue together with hot glue. The result is a figure resembling a trefoil. You can add any decor that you have; in the example, golden petals are used, which can easily be found at Christmas tree markets and in New Year's decor departments. Winter crafts made from pine cones can become wonderful compositions. At first glance, it is not even clear what such beauty is made of. But in order to make such beautiful flowers from large cones, you will have to try a little and arm yourself with good scissors. They cut off the lower large scales so that only one or two lower rows remain, and you get such beautiful cups. Also cut off the scales; we will glue them separately to make beautiful flowers. To turn your composition into an original lamp, use a Christmas tree garland with light bulbs in the shape of flowers. Make a hole in the cone cups through which you pass the light bulbs, and wrap the wire at the bottom with thin wire to make a semblance of a stem. Make some light bulbs without frames with pine cones in the same way. Place all the resulting “flowers” in a shallow vase. To ensure that the bundle does not fall apart and stays together, wrap it several times with electrical tape. To make the composition more lush, it needs to be diluted with small cones. To place them, each cone is glued with hot glue to a piece of wire, and then stuck in the required quantity.
A New Year's decoration can become, you just need to use in its creation the ingredients that we primarily associate with the New Year holidays. These are fragrant pine needles, cinnamon sticks, citrus fruits. If everything is more or less clear with spices, then in order to beautifully dry orange slices, you will have to tinker. A small orange is cut into circles with a sharp knife, placed on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, and placed in the oven. We don’t need high heat; it will be enough to keep the baking sheet in the oven for 3-4 hours at a temperature of 90 degrees. Don't forget to turn the circles over to the other side from time to time. Remove the hard oranges from the parchment and set them to dry in a switched off, cooling oven. After drying, you can use them for your New Year's compositions. In this way you can get an unusual decor of different colors: orange circles of oranges, yellow circles of lemons, green circles of limes.

Beautiful New Year's gifts often baffle us, because during the holidays we need to congratulate a very large number of people, these are colleagues or business partners, buddies, friends, and closest relatives. You can actually put anything in the wonderful box you see in the photo. Since sparkling wine is an indispensable attribute of the New Year in our country, it is used in this example, but you can also use a beautiful box of coffee or tea, or a bottle of perfume. The whole composition of the composition on a scale is a whole box filled with beauties and goodies. For the base we will need a small box, the kind that fruits are often packaged in in stores. To make the box presentable, we paint it with white paint and first (if it was wooden) sand it so as not to injure your hands. We pass mailing twine through the top edge of the box, wrapping it diagonally, and at the end we tie it with a lush bow. We cover the bottom of the box with artificial pine needles from the Christmas tree market, or, if you are going to give as a gift soon, with real ones. Often insects can live in acorns, and this will be very harmful to us. Therefore, it is recommended to bake the acorns in the oven for 15 minutes at high temperature. At the same time, they will lose the remaining moisture and will be stored longer. Glue the acorns onto the base in one direction, in dense rows. When the entire wreath is covered with acorns, paint it with spray paint in light green (or any other) color. To attach, tie a wide satin ribbon to the wreath. will look very unusual and bright on your front door.
How to make New Year's compositions with your own hands

We glue the halves of the shells onto the foam ball, alternating them with sisal balls and Christmas tree decorations (take out the fasteners from them). Those joints that are left unfilled can be decorated with flowers or other similar ones.
