For the first three days of the narrow Maslenitsa, peasants were still allowed to do household work, from Monday to Wednesday inclusive. Started on Thursday Wide Maslenitsa and work was prohibited.

If you honor Orthodox customs, then find out what each day of Maslenitsa means.
  1. IN Monday discuss where they will be held festivities, what time, composition of guests. On this day, it was necessary to make a scarecrow of Maslenitsa from straw, bake pancakes, which were used to commemorate the dead or distribute treats to the poor.
  2. Tuesday called Flirting. On this day, brides were traditionally looked after to get married on Krasnaya Gorka, after Lent.

Maslenitsa in kindergarten

Tell all this about Maslenitsa to the children so that they will be interested in making crafts on this topic. This fun party takes place at the end of winter. You need to prepare for it in advance. The hall is decorated in a certain way, a holiday script is developed, costumes are sewn, and children need to bring crafts with them.

The holiday is celebrated in the same way. primary school. For younger children, we can recommend the following crafts, which they can quickly make on their own or with a little help from their parents.

The sun is one of the main symbols of Maslenitsa.

To make a similar craft, take:
  • yellow cardboard;
  • plasticine;
  • yellow threads;
  • glue;
  • scissors;
  • floss;
  • compass;
  • pencil;
  • wooden skewer.
Draw a circle on the cardboard with a compass and cut it out.

Using the tip of a wooden skewer, make punctures along the edge of the circle.

Cut as many threads as there are punctures on the workpiece. Insert each piece into a specific hole, fold the threads in half, and tie a knot.

Let the child make eyes from white plasticine, and pupils from black plasticine. From red - mouth and rosy cheeks, these blanks will be attached to the face of the sun.

With him reverse side Using plasticine, you need to secure a wooden skewer, after which the craft for the Maslenitsa holiday with your own hands is ready. For children this is fun entertainment, an opportunity to show what they can do.

From the remnants of the threads you can make a small scarecrow of Maslenitsa to take to childcare facility as a craft or gift to someone during the holidays.

Wrap the threads around two widely spaced fingers, between the big and middle fingers. Cut this skein from 1st and 2nd edges. Tie with red threads on both sides.

Now you will need to make a skein that is approximately 2 times longer than the previous one. Fold it in half, place the first one with red threads perpendicularly inside. Taking yarn of the same color, wind it around top part of a large skein to mark the head and attach it to the large skein.

At the top you will get a loop, so the Maslenitsa effigy will have a head. Without breaking this long red thread, pass it forward, then back, crossing. Tie the ends into a knot.

Cut the bottom of the folded threads with scissors, straighten the resulting skirt. Your handmade scarecrow for Maslenitsa is ready.

The guys can make pancakes for Maslenitsa from plasticine. First, let them take a white one, roll it into a ball, flatten it into a circle - this is a plate.

To make pancakes, let them take light brown plasticine, decorate the first cake in the same way, but it should be slightly smaller than the plate.

Other pancakes are also made from plasticine and stacked.

You can now show your children how to make a sun out of yellow cardboard on a stick. The second craft is no less interesting. Maslenitsa for children can become a creative holiday if you reveal to them the secrets of other ideas. To make a second sun, take:
  • sheet of cardboard;
  • glue;
  • colored pencils or markers;
  • millet;
  • a rag.
Making master class:
  1. Let the child draw a circle on white cardboard, and with colored pencils or markers - the facial features of the sun.
  2. These elements should be left in this form, and the rest of the space should be covered with glue. While the solution is not dry, let the child sprinkle millet on these places.
  3. You need to wait, and when the glue has dried, shake off the excess grain, after which the fake is considered complete.

But is it possible to stop and not continue to create on this topic?

When telling children about Maslenitsa, be sure to mention that the sun is almost the main attribute of the holiday. This is why pancakes are baked, because they are similar in shape to this celestial body.

Make a prototype of the sun with your child using:

  • yellow plasticine;
  • toothpicks;
  • blue and pink plasticine.
Children really like to make pancakes from plastic mass. Let the child roll the ball and press it with his palm so that it turns into an almost flat circle. He will make eyes from blue plasticine, and a mouth from pink plasticine. All that remains is to evenly insert toothpicks into the sides of the circle to make rays of the sun.

There are also other ways to make the sun for Maslenitsa.

As you can see, to create this we need:
  • colored paper;
  • scissors;
  • glue;
  • pencil;
  • hole puncher;
  • a round object, such as a plate.
Let the child put it on the other side yellow leaf paper plate, circle it with a simple pencil, then cut out a circle using scissors along these outlines.

You can make a sun out of cardboard and thread it through the holes. satin ribbons, tie them, attach the sun to the stick. If you hold it, the ribbons will flutter in the wind, making the Maslenitsa attribute even more impressive.

Maslenitsa games on the street

These fun activities will allow children and adults to have a great time celebrating spring. It would be good if the games were held by two entertainers from the masses, one in the image of Spring, the other in the outfit of the Buffoon.

When developing a scenario for the Maslenitsa holiday on the street, be sure to include the Labyrinth game in it. First, let the buffoon say that winter doesn’t want to go away, it’s bitterly cold outside. In order to keep warm, he will suggest to people: Let's play.

To make a maze you will need:

  • snow;
  • shovels;
  • several participants;
  • flags of two colors;
  • paper;
  • pencil.
First, draw a plan for the future labyrinth on paper and decide where you will build it.

The device must have two outputs with different sides. The labyrinth can be round or rectangular.

Do not make the walls in the maze too high; they should not be higher than one meter. Then the lost person can be easily found.

  1. If this is a labyrinth for children, then the walls should be even lower. To make it convenient for adults to walk here, make the paths sufficiently wide.
  2. If you don’t want to build a labyrinth, then use flags to create intricate paths in the snow.
  3. Usually two teams compete, for each you need to make flags of a certain color. Competitors will collect these trophies. The team that collects the most flags and does it the fastest wins.
If you have a suitable snow slide, then you can organize a competition right here. If not, in which case build it in advance. For this you will need:
  • snow;
  • shovels;
  • water.
Further in this sequence:
  1. During the thaw, roll out large balls of snow with your children and place these improvised building blocks next to each other. Connect them by helping yourself with shovels and feet.
  2. When you have compacted the inclined slide well, pour water on it so that it has time to harden.
  3. Using a shovel, cut out steps in the snow on one side of the slide; you can make various arches and beautiful fences.
When you come up with games for Maslenitsa, prepare disposable cups and water. Pour this liquid into these containers.
  1. Let those present split into two teams. The buffoon will give each person a glass of water at the top; the competitor must slide down with this container and try to splash the water as little as possible. He will pour it into a container held by a girl dressed in a spring costume.
  2. Whose team can bring the most water is considered the winner. Individual competitions can be arranged. Everyone takes turns sliding down the slide with a glass of water and staying down.
  3. Then Skomorokh and Vesna compare and determine the winner, who was able to bring as much liquid to the bottom as possible.
Be sure to include the following game in your Maslenitsa outdoor scenario. It's called "Santa Claus's Shooting Range". To make attributes for this entertainment you will need:
  • wooden shield;
  • bar;
  • self-tapping screws;
  • white enamel;
  • brush;
  • snow.
A wooden square shield with a side of one meter will become a target, but first you need to draw enamel markings on it and let it dry. Using self-tapping screws, attach this blank to a block, fix it near the fence or dig it into the snow.

You can simplify the task by drawing a target on a solid fence with chalk. Of course, if the owner of this fence doesn’t mind.

The players make snowballs; whoever is the most accurate wins.

The following competition would also be good to include in the scenario of Maslenitsa on the street for the village or for the city. As you know, during this holiday people used to ride horses. But now this is quite problematic, so you can arrange races on another subject and have a lot of fun.

For this competition you will need:

  • broom;
  • stopwatch;
  • snow globes or skittles.
Rules of the organization:
  1. Use pins or snow balls to limit the path to a sufficient width. Place them on one and the other side of the path.
  2. Let the entertainer in the image of Skomorokh or Spring pick up a stopwatch.
  3. On command, the first participant will saddle the broom and ride it along the prepared path. If he hits the ball and pin, penalty seconds are added.
  4. When the player reaches the finish line, the entertainer will stop the stopwatch hand and record the total time. In this way, all participants in this Maslenitsa game will pass, each will have their own result. The one who spends the least time completing the test wins.
Another interesting competition can be offered to children. Place artificial or other materials on the snow. Give the children baskets or bags. The winner in this fun competition is the one who manages to collect the most snowdrops.

The kids will be able to warm up and get a boost of energy by offering them a game called “The Crow and the Sparrows.” Members of one team become ravens, the other - sparrows. At the command of the presenter: “Crows,” the guys from this team begin to run after sparrows and catch them. Then the entertainer says: “Sparrows!” Now the guys from the other brigade will run after their rivals.

If you are developing a Maslenitsa scenario for children on the street, turn on the game “Peacock’s Tail”. It will require:

Place plastic bottles on both sides of the path, belt the participants in the competition with ropes, to the end of which they need to tie a broom by the handle. Such a peacock must walk along the path without knocking over the pins with a broom.

Funny jokes and jokes will help make the Maslenitsa holiday even more memorable.

DIY Buffoon costume

This outfit will come in handy for this holiday. If Maslenitsa is celebrated on kindergarten, then some boys will come in these suits.

This outfit is suitable for children. To do it, take:

  • silk fabric of two colors or another;
  • zipper or button for fastening;
  • two bells or two pom-poms;
  • white calico;
  • linen elastic;
  • scissors;
  • threads

The pattern here is very simple; the suit is sewn like a jumpsuit. Fold the fabric in half. Place the presented pattern on it, matching the folds. Cut the fabric, adding 1 cm on all sides and 2 cm on the bottom. Finish the neckline with a roll or bias tape. Sew the sides, tuck the bottom, hem here by hand or on a machine. Sew a zipper or button with a loop at the back.

To do this, connect these two blanks on the sides, edge the neck of the collar and its outer round edge with bias tape. When sewing it to the neck, you need to sew an elastic band on the back side so that this part can be easily put on the neck.

To make buttons, place padding polyester on regular circles, stretch the main fabric over them, and sew the edges from the bottom.

The buffoon's hat consists of two parts. First, using the presented pattern, create a lining from calico. These two elements need to be stitched on the sides. Sew a hat from the main fabric in the same way.

Insert the lining into the main workpiece, connect these two parts from the bottom. The work is completed.

If you want to sew a buffoon costume so that it consists of a shirt and pants, then you can use a colorful one for the first item women's robe. It is enough to trim it from the bottom, tuck it here and hem it. If such a costume is created for a child, slits are made on the top of the sleeves, which are also processed. You will get long, hanging sleeves of the character. There is no need to do this for an adult. To ensure that this part fits properly, it will be enough to tie the shirt with a belt.

You can use any loose pants for the bottom of the suit by inserting an elastic band into the cuff.

You already know how to sew a buffoon's hat. You can create a bright collar using the method presented above or make it sharp-angled so that the edges consist of 8 narrow triangles. Sew pompoms or bells onto their ends.

Creating a Spring costume for Maslenitsa

This is another of the main characters who is included in the Maslenitsa script. To make a spring costume for a girl or woman, take:

  • textile;
  • scissors;
  • threads;
  • interlining;
  • wreath of leaves;
  • beads

It is better to use green fabric, because it is so in harmony with this time of year. if you have matching dress, use it as a template. If not, then use the pattern below.

The front consists of 1 piece, as does the back. You can align the fold line of the pattern with the fold line of the fabric. Cut out two flared sleeves, make their bottoms zigzag, these will be birch leaves.

To process the edges of the sleeves, first glue here non-woven fabric or web for repairing clothes, then this part of the costume will not fray.

Let the heroine wear beads around her neck and real or artificial beads on her head.

If you have a sundress in the right color, you can quickly turn it into a spring suit. To do this, make a head decoration like a veil from fabric. It attaches to the hair hoop at the back. In front of the headdress, as well as on the sundress, you need to glue or sew flowers made of fabric or paper.

The next master class will help you make them. As you can see, any of these materials is folded almost in half, having previously been cut into a rectangle. Stepping back 5 mm from the fold, sew along the edge with a basting stitch. Bend the lower part of the flower down and the upper part up. Sew the resulting workpiece on the side.

To make a veil, place folds in the selected light material. You can take it in your hand.

Here's how to quickly make a spring costume, a buffoon, so that these characters will help you have a fun Maslenitsa holiday outdoors or indoors. If you want to see what other games can be included in the scenario, then check out the following story.

And of course, at the end of the holiday, according to tradition, they burn an effigy of Maslenitsa to a cheerful song, so that winter ends quickly and the long-awaited spring finally comes!

    The main 2 components of the Spring costume are a green dress and a wreath of flowers. Then it all depends on the imagination or capabilities of the costume designer. Embroider with flowers, or decorate the outfit with flowers bought in the store. And it also seems to me that the Spring costume should be somewhat different from the Summer costume. In my opinion, this difference should be expressed in the color of the dress - light green or soft green, and not bright. And you can pick up a branch of any tree that has just begun to bloom.

    In kindergartens, matinees are held year-round. Here is the Autumn holiday, and New Year with Winter, the meeting of Spring and Summer. Therefore, a Spring costume is simply necessary for such an event. You can not only sew it yourself, but also construct it from existing clothing items.

    What colors do we associate with spring? Of course, these are lush greenery, white snowdrops, yellow sun, blue sky, bright flowers... This is the direction we can move. For the base you can choose long dress green and decorate it with flowers. A mandatory attribute of spring is a wreath of flowers or just a hoop. Spring can hold a bouquet of snowdrops in her hands...

    Spring costume.

    The dress base of the suit is floor-length, the sleeves are long, gathered at the cuffs or slightly flared at the bottom. The dress is straight, slightly widened at the bottom, with side slits to the knees. The collar is round. Decorate the hem, neck, and sleeves with wide braid.

    Sew a thin red braid in front above the chest line, and sew red, green, yellow ribbons to the braid, just above the knee.

    On your feet, ballet flats and leggings of a matching color.

    A wreath on the head.

    The Spring costume can be made from two parts. The dress has the same base as above and a separate cape on top, repeating the silhouette of the dress, but sewn on the sides and without sleeves. Contrasting in color. Light dress and a red cape with an ornament. Nylon tights and shoes.

    Spring Costume for the holiday you can sew it yourself at home. Spring is the bright sun warming the earth, the first greenery covering the fields, the first flowers. Therefore, green is suitable as the main fabric color for this outfit. different shades and yellow. Usually they sew a long dress with wide sleeves and decorate it with flowers and ribbons. This costume requires a wreath, which you can also make yourself. To make it, take ready-made artificial flowers or make them yourself from fabric or corrugated paper, and if possible, use fresh flowers. This outfit looks good on both kids and adults! Perhaps you will find something useful from the selection of photographs offered here?

    Your question brought back memories of a spring costume, which I did when I was in school. I took a long green dress (now this is not a problem at all), trimmed it with flowers along the hem, and also made colored flowers myself from paper. Now this kind of paper is used to decorate bouquets from flowers. But now flowers are also not a problem to buy. Jewelry, of course, earrings beautiful bracelet and beads. And of course the most important thing is to make a beautiful wreath of flowers on your head. You can put it on your shoulders beautiful stole to match the dress or something close to colorful.

    Making a Spring costume for a girl is not at all difficult. To do this, you will need to sew a dress or skirt, and then decorate the outfit with flowers. You can also use a ready-made dress and accessorize it with flowers.

    Since the color of spring is light green, I would recommend choosing a thin satin or chiffon as the fabric for the dress. These flying fabrics will create the effect of lightness, airiness, and romance, so inherent in spring.

    Sew a simple-cut sundress from fabric with a loose skirt, sew fabric flowers along the length of the skirt and in the chest area, and decorate your head floral wreath. Alternatively, you might end up with an image like this.

“The cheerful bumblebee is buzzing the spring alarm, the perky cheerful starlings are shouting, the starlings are shouting at all ends: “Spring is coming!” Make way for spring! - these lines of the well-known song seem to be “saturated” with the joyful anticipation of meeting Spring. And it’s true, who doesn’t love this time of year? After a long, cold winter, nature seems to come to life, preparing for renewal, just like you and me. Remember how in childhood we splashed through puddles with delight, made paper boats, letting them go with the flow? And years later, we are still truly waiting for Spring, still expecting miracles, more adult ones, but still miracles...
As a child, the beginning of spring was associated not only with the warming sun, but also with creative performances in kindergartens. The children have been waiting for Spring for so long that they decide to welcome it all together very cordially and hospitably! Spring is often compared to a very young girl. Like, she wanders through the forests and fields in her elegant attire, and behind her is a floral train... And so, your daughter comes running home and happily tells you: “Mommy, I will be in the Spring! Hooray!" Of course, there is no end to your child's delight. You, too, are happy for your treasure, while at the same time thinking about what to do with the Spring costume... So, what do you imagine? color scheme similar outfit? Something green or light turquoise, or maybe even light green or light green? The beauty of the Spring costume is that everyone represents Spring in their own way. Yes, there are some specific ones general provisions, but still the process of making a costume is always your flight of fancy. And this is the highlight of your outfit!

Today I want to give you some DIY Spring costume ideas.

We determine the basics or “foundation” of the costume. So where to start? You will need to sew a dress or skirt with a top. Since the shade of Spring is green (light), I would advise choosing satin or chiffon as the material for your robe. It is these materials that will create the effect of airiness and wonderful lightness, which is associated specifically with Spring. A Spring robe made from tulle material will look interesting. if you have matching skirt, then choose a yellow top or, for example, a T-shirt. Of course, you can buy a dress or sundress desired color and material in the store. Just in case, I’ll attach here diagrams of dresses that fit the image of the Spring beauty.
We make floral “accessories”. What would our Spring be like without wonderful flowers? Our dress or sundress (or top along with a skirt) must be decorated! Flowers made from corrugated paper are very popular now. Having learned how to make them, you will kill two birds with one stone:) Firstly, you will decorate the costume of your beloved daughter, and secondly, if you wish, you can decorate your apartment with homemade ones at any time. luxurious flowers! I will attach to the article an approximate (!) manufacturing diagram corrugated rose. For a Spring costume you can take corrugated paper different shades suitable for the “spring” style, for example, white and light green or green and light green (at your discretion). It will look spectacular and really like spring!

So, we cut out eleven blanks from corrugated paper rectangular shape: six pieces measuring 4x7 centimeters and five pieces measuring 6x7 centimeters, rounding their edges on one side only. We give the details the shape of real rose petals, i.e. We extend the middle of these blanks to a slight convexity. We leave the edges as they are on this moment. We wrap the candy with one of the wide large petals so that it is not visible - in this case, the delicacy is here to give the flower the required form. And we attach our composition to the wire. We are left with four wide parts (the same ones that arose from rectangles measuring 6x7 centimeters). We wrap them quite tightly around the core with the candy purchased in advance. We place the narrow petals of the flower against each other, but not as tightly as we placed the wide ones. Now let's give the petals a natural shape using a special tape. We will wrap the wire with green (light green) paper and attach the “leaves” of our flower at a distance. Note. As you might have already guessed, we don’t have to make the “leg” of the flower, because we want to attach our flower directly to the Spring costume. But I didn’t cross out this point in the instructions, because... it may be useful to you when making flowers as home decor;)
By the way, for greater effectiveness and naturalness, your charming Spring can hold in her hands a bouquet of snowdrops, lilies of the valley or a branch of any tree that is about to begin to bloom. Don't forget about the wreath on your girl's head! It shouldn’t be too bright, because we want to embody the image of a gentle Spring, not a red summer :) The most common way to make a wreath is to carefully attach artificial flowers to the wire frame. If you want to make a wreath of fresh flowers, then do not forget that the flowers fade quite quickly, and you will have to act promptly and literally on the morning of the holiday. By the way, a floral headband - great alternative wreath! Comfortable, elegant, modern. It’s up to you and your daughter to decide what to put on your beautiful Spring’s head - a wreath or a headband.

We decorate the legs. How will our lovely Spring decorate her feet? If you choose a long dress, then you can wear nylon tights. For a shorter outfit, leggings are more suitable. What about shoes? You can put elegant buckles with flowers on your holiday shoes. They can be made from gift paper. If your Spring costume is already filled with different decorative elements, then it is better to wear the most ordinary sandals on your feet, matching the color, respectively.

Let's dohairstyle So you have your Spring outfit, beautiful floral decorations, shoes, but something is missing? What’s missing is a beautiful, spectacular hairstyle! If your daughter long hair, then braid the most ordinary braid and decorate the strands with silk ribbons. By the way, a braid in Greek style, and a spikelet braid. Of course, you can leave your hair loose or make large, elegant curls. A little trick: if you braid wet or damp hair into large braids at night, then in the morning your girl will have just large and natural “waves” in her hair. If your daughter short hair, you just need to comb it carefully and add a little volume. The main thing is that the wreath is in place and looks beautiful and natural.

Several ready-made examples.

1). We sew a sundress with a skirt from fabric. We sew flowers made of fabric along the entire length of the skirt and in the chest area. We decorate the head with a flower wreath.

Several ready-made examples. I will give a couple of specific brief examples of how to make a Spring costume.

1). We sew a sundress with a skirt. We sew flowers made of fabric along the entire length of the skirt and in the chest area. We decorate the head with a flower wreath.

2). In my daughter’s wardrobe we find a skirt and a top. And by the way, it is not necessary that they be only green or only light green. You can take a light green top and a light yellow skirt, or vice versa. We sew flowers to the skirt (we cut them out of contrasting color fabric or ready-made ones, i.e. bought in a store. And again, the indispensable accessory of the Spring beauty is a floral wreath.

3). We sew (or buy) a regular long dress. Of course, “spring” color, i.e. light green or light green. You can sew a beautiful transparent cape made of flowing fabric onto the dress. Decorate the fabric of the cape with light green or golden sequins, for example. Small flowers are also suitable. Imagine how beautifully such a cape will develop when walking! You can decorate the dress with the same decorative flowers, and you can put a crown on your head instead of a wreath. A crown is a great alternative to a wreath. Just be sure to first decorate the crown with flowers or fabric to match the dress.

Well, there are a lot of ideas for implementing a costume for the wonderful and long-awaited Spring. But there are two main rules. First of all, completely trust your imagination and fantasy! After all, you create this robe yourself, which means it will already be unique. Well, secondly, it is important that your beloved daughter feels great in this costume! After all, Spring is long-awaited, smiling, warm... Let your girl feel it. Imagine, the long-awaited matinee begins! You stand with the rest of the parents in anticipation of the holiday. The children are really looking forward to meeting the long-awaited Spring, joyfully whispering, laughing and wondering who will be this most wonderful Spring. And then... drum roll! The arrival of Spring is announced. Your daughter appears on stage - so beautiful that you can’t take your eyes off her. Graceful dress, a fancy wreath, in hands - a bouquet of the very first snowdrops. But the most beautiful thing is that there is so much light and sunny warmth in your girl’s eyes that it’s simply impossible not to smile! The baby is so glad that she is greeted with applause and joyful screams. But most importantly, she is delighted with the costume that her mother made for her with such love and sincerity. And of course, your daughter is incredibly happy that Cold winter, has finally given way to the much-awaited Spring...
I really hope that this article inspired you to make a Spring costume and helped you. I will be very glad if my tips, notes and thoughts are useful to you! With pleasure and with all my heart, I congratulate you on the end of winter and the beginning of a wonderful Spring! Hooray
