It is starch that cleans microscopic irregularities in glass and eliminates stains. Therefore, even very dusty glass can be perfectly cleaned with a simple starch composition: pour a tablespoon of water into a liter of water.
Chalk or tooth powder acts similarly to starch, turning into an effective means for cleaning glass.
If you spray vodka on a double-glazed window, you can clean even the dirt that has accumulated over the winter months.
I wipe any glass with a napkin moistened with diluted vodka. The effect is the same as from a starch composition, and I spend less time. Vinegar and water

Water and lemon
You can replace vinegar with citric acid or lemon juice. The simplest recipe for washing plastic windows will look like this: for one glass of water, about 50 grams of citric acid, i.e. approximately 1 to 5. Washing stages
The work process is multi-stage, and it is important to follow the sequence of all manipulations.

Removing dirty water with a squid. We do this vertically from top to bottom, not yet paying attention to the stains and not pressing the tool too hard against the glass.

Basic cleaning. Performed by squidge (squeezing). It starts from the top of the window, is carried out in a horizontal direction, from right to left, the angle of reduction to the surface of the window is 20 - 30°. After each pass, use a soft cloth (in the other hand) to wipe the window from right to left (i.e., in the opposite direction of the cut). After each horizontal pass, the squidge is wiped dry with a rag (thus, the rag itself should always be dry).
The second and subsequent (if necessary) passes are performed in the same way, capturing 2-3 cm of the cleaned surface (as if “overlapping”).
Final finishing touches. Made using microfiber or other soft materials. All glass is carefully checked for marks from stripes, etc. and wiped dry, finally a pass is made between the glass and the frame around the perimeter. Thus, the time from start to finish of work usually takes about 20 minutes.
- There is an optimal weather even for window cleaning. It is better to do this on a cloudy, cloudy day, because during work under the influence of sunlight, the detergent dries quickly, leaving “rainbow” stains on the glass. If your “schedule” allows you to complete the work at different times, work first on the windows that are not in direct sunlight. Or wash some windows early in the morning and others in the evening.

- Microfiber “works” better with dry or slightly moistened surfaces, so it is optimal to use it specifically for wiping and removing remaining moisture. As options - any soft hygroscopic material.
- It is better not to use abrasives when washing windows to avoid scratching and other damage to the surface (frame, window sill, glass, etc.). An alternative to hard and rigid abrasives containing sand, etc. is a melamine sponge - it copes well with very problematic stains.
- Products containing organic solvents and acids should not be used to wash wooden frames - it is better to wipe them with a damp cloth and then wipe dry with microfiber.
- To ensure that the glass surface of the window remains clean as long as possible, after washing it can be wiped with water with glycerin dissolved in it - a “protective film” that is invisible to the eye is formed on the surface.

- Greasy, dirty glass (which is typical, for example, for kitchen windows) can be effectively washed with alcohol-based products. An example is the already mentioned VITREX quick-acting alcohol cleaner. An alcohol-free alternative is GLASEFFEKT, which also works great on oil and grease stains.
