Beading patterns for trees and flowers. Let's learn to make flowers from beads. Unusual and beautiful beaded wisteria tree, master class

Are you eager to do DIY golden tree made of beads at home? Then read this article, it tells and describes everything step by step! It will be interesting!

The craft with the self-explanatory name “Golden Autumn” is a tree made of beads, decorated with all the shades of the autumn season. At your request, it can become a wonderful decoration for your home or an original gift for lovers of everything unusual.

Think about what kind of tree you want to create - a slender birch, a majestic oak, a mysterious ash or a branchy maple. It may be a non-existent tree from a fantasy world, but it is sure to be dressed in crimson, yellow and golden colors.

Depending on how you want the base and trunk of the tree to look, you may need paint, fabric, tape, or plaster.

If you don’t have some materials, don’t be afraid to experiment - replace acrylic paints with floss threads, or do without varnish for the final painting.

The step-by-step diagram presented on the site is just a sample and a set of tips. The final appearance of the golden tree depends solely on your ingenuity and the items at hand.

Necessary materials:

  • Beads of different shades;
  • Thin and thick copper wire (diameter 0.3-0.5 mm and 1.2-2 mm);
  • Steel or aluminum wire;
  • Floss threads or colored adhesive tape;
  • Scissors;
  • Wire cutters;
  • Container for wood;
  • Bowl for preparing the mixture;
  • Alabaster, sand and cement;
  • Water;
  • PVA glue;
  • Foil;
  • Paint brushes;
  • Sandpaper and soft sponge;
  • Gouache;
  • Acrylic lacquer;
  • Decorative elements (pebbles, artificial moss, small cones, etc.).

Manufacturing

Twig for a tree

To make the tree's foliage look as natural as possible, it is better to collect a sufficient number of bags of beads in different tones: dark red, red, orange, yellow, gold.

About 4-5 bags of 150 grams will be enough. Translucent beads will look great.

To achieve the fall foliage effect, we will make several batches of twigs, each with a different color.

The branches will be arranged from darker to lighter colors, starting from the top of the crown. This way you will get a smoothly changing range of foliage.

Take a piece of thin copper wire 40-60 cm. Step back from the edge and start stringing beads of the same color, as shown in the photo.

If you want to make small leaves, then leave 12 beads on each loop, and for large ones - up to 20 pieces.

After the first leaf, simply twist the wire a couple of centimeters, then string beads in the same way onto the two remaining ends of the wire to make the side leaves.

One branch should have 5-11 leaves, arranged symmetrically or with a slight shift.

It will turn out just fine if all the branches turn out to be absolutely identical. Give the leaves a sharp or oval shape by pulling out the loops. Bend each branch slightly into a smooth arc.

As soon as the blanks contain 15-35 branches of different colors, you can proceed to the next stage.

Take 3-4 identical branches and form them into one bundle. To do this, use pliers to carefully twist the ends of the wires from each branch together, attaching another, thicker wire (copper or aluminum) to them, then tightly wrap the stems with tape or thread, securing them.

Using the same principle, the remaining blanks are fastened into large branches.

tree trunk

Once the bundles of colorful branches are ready, it is time to make the tree trunk. Use steel or aluminum wires twisted together for the frame if it seems to you that one is not enough.

Dark red or red branches are tied to the end of the wire with tape - this will be the top. Step back a few centimeters and boldly take on the next branch.

The next tier of branches should be a little lighter - orange, then yellow and, finally, golden branches will appear closest to the roots.

About halfway through the trunk, don’t forget to add some more long, strong wire to secure the structure. Leave 4-7 cm of the ends of the wire untouched - then they can be spread apart and stable roots can be formed.

The tree trunk itself can now be slightly bent, after which the entire craft can be checked for stability.

Two barrel design options

Method one

The first method is the simplest and only requires you to additionally wrap the base of the tree in several layers of tape to create a fairly thick trunk.

Then, starting from the branches and ending with the area near the rhizomes, the craft is tightly wrapped with floss threads, leaving no gaps.

To suit your taste, choose white, brown or beige for the color of the bark.

Second

It involves the use of alabaster and acrylic and will allow you to achieve maximum realism.

First, secure the beaded parts by wrapping the branches in foil bags. Then make a solution of PVA glue, water and alabaster. Stir until the mixture is liquid and cover all the branches and trunk with it.

Wait until it dries and prepare a new gypsum mixture, this time thicker and more flexible.

Alabaster should take up most of the solution of glue and water. Apply the solution evenly to the trunk to form a complete tree.

While the solution has not dried, use a blunt needle tip or a toothpick to draw uneven rotten bark over the entire surface of the plaster, making either light or deep furrows.

After a day, the wood will completely harden and will be ready for cosmetic treatment with sandpaper. Correct any remaining unevenness with a damp sponge, removing excess or debris of plaster, including dust.

Painting

The next stage is painting. If you want to create a birch tree, all you need is white and black paint with a final layer of varnish.

The starting layer will be yellow(only the trunk is covered), the next one is dark brown (together with the branches).

Don't wait for the second coat to dry, but immediately use a damp sponge to carefully wipe away some of the brown paint from the base of the tree.

After waiting for the paint to dry, you can do the final touches. Coat all parts of the tree, with the exception of beaded branches, with a layer of acrylic varnish, which after drying will become transparent and add gloss.

The “ground” and the roots of the tree also need to be painted and varnished.

After this, you can free the branches from the foil and start decorating the base from which our tree will grow.

What and how to build a container from?

A small bowl or a shaped silicone baking mold can become a tub or pot for a tree.

The bottom of a plastic bottle or spray bottle works well as a base if you cut off the neck and middle of the container evenly.

Then make a gypsum solution or dilute alabaster in a deep bowl. For the solution you will need some sand, cement and gypsum.

Gradually add a little water and stir until a thick mass similar to sour cream.

Now place the roots of the tree generously in the tub, once again making sure that the tree will not tilt or fall anywhere. Fill the container with the resulting solution and leave it to harden for a couple of hours.

The resulting base, which represents the soil, all that remains is to paint and correctly arrange the decorating elements.

Moss, smooth pebbles or simple small pebbles will look best. If desired, add small pine cones or twigs nearby.

Glue them securely and fill them with varnish so that all the parts blend perfectly with the rest of the wood.

Result

Now that you have achieved what you want with your own hands, you can admire gold beaded tree, as if he had just stepped out of a festive autumn postcard.

At all times, people admired the creativity of great masters and needlewomen and tried to imitate them. Original products - trees made of beads are becoming increasingly popular. With their beauty and uniqueness, they attract the attention of not only lovers of needlework, but also those who want to better understand this skill.

The fascinating process of handwork, when real masterpieces are created from miniature beads, attracts more and more art connoisseurs. To understand the secrets of this needlework, it is advisable to be patient, listen to wise advice and allocate enough time. After all, creating trees from beads is quite difficult. Each branch and leaf should be given special attention, and then, by connecting individual parts, you should get a nice product. To help beginning needlewomen improve their skills, many special schemes for the creative process have been developed. They are based on the characteristics of different types of trees that can be created using beads.

Getting to know the basics of craftsmanship

Many people have heard these wise words: “Who despises the day of humble beginnings?” And indeed, every business starts small, so you shouldn’t despise the basic basics of the creative process. To learn how to weave trees from beads, you must first learn the main principles of this needlework:

  • stringing glass beads on wire;
  • creating neat loops;
  • connection of structural parts;
  • understanding of work patterns;
  • correct color selection.

Having mastered the basic basics, you can begin to create a tree from beads with your own hands. To do this you need to prepare the following set of items:

It is important to take into account the fact that each tree has its own characteristics, so there is no single scheme. The photo shows different types of beaded trees made by experienced craftsmen. By taking into account the main principles, you can achieve similar successes and enjoy the creation of your hands.

To make the product elegant and beautiful, it is better to use thinner wire. It is much easier to work with, especially for beginner students.

The process of creating a tree from beads includes the following simple movements:

  1. 7 beads are strung on a thin wire about 50 cm long. Placed in the center.
  2. Bend the metal thread to form a loop. In this case, the beads are at the top.
  3. The ends of the wire are twisted and pulled apart in different directions.
  4. Having stepped back from the place of twisting on the right side to a distance of about 1.5 cm, again collect 7 pieces of bugles. They do the same on the left side. The ends are twisted. In this way the branches of the future tree are woven. The more of them you can make, the more attractive the product will look.
  5. When the branches are ready, begin assembly. To do this, they are connected in pairs, twisting at the base.
  6. Branches are attached to a dense rod or thick wire. The result is a structural trunk that holds the weaving elements.
  7. The tree is placed in a beautiful vase or flower pot. It is pre-filled with plaster or plasticine.

Such principles are applied to the manufacture of various types of trees, not forgetting that each design has individual characteristics.

The simplest option on how to make a tree from beads is the manufacturing process. In the Land of the Rising Sun, this plant is considered a symbol of the awakening of nature and feminine beauty. And for beginning needlewomen, this is a good way to acquire good craftsmanship skills. For work you should purchase the following materials:

  • pale pink beads;
  • flexible wire (necessarily of different thicknesses);
  • masking tape;
  • paints or gouache.

First of all, the flexible wire is cut into pieces 20 or 30 cm long. Beads of 5 or 6 pieces are strung on each of them. After this, the ends of the wire are connected to form a beautiful leaf. Next, a branch is formed. At one level, 2 petals are tied opposite each other. Then they are connected in groups of 3 together.

To form a trunk, the woven branches are wrapped with masking tape, which is later painted with paint or gouache. The finished structure is attached to the base using plaster or alabaster. It is important to work carefully so as not to stain the sakura petals

For a beautiful tree you will need from 90 to 120 branches. Therefore, you need to patiently and slowly move towards your goal.

These simple rules for beginners help beginners create their first tree from beads and enjoy the product of their hands.

Amazing wisteria - video master class

Russian birch weaving option

A cute tree with cascading branches remains at the peak of its glory for centuries. Many poems have been written about him and paintings have been painted. Lovers of handicrafts could not resist him either. Using a master class on weaving trees from beads, in particular birch, it is easy to create your own masterpiece.

To work, you need to prepare the following tools:

  • beads in four shades of green (preferably in different contrasts);
  • wire: 0.3 mm, 1 and 3;
  • threads;
  • glue (PVA is possible);
  • acrylic paints;
  • wide and narrow brush.

Once the items are at hand, you can begin the creative process.

First, take a wire 0.3 mm thick and cut a piece 40 cm long. 9 pieces of beads are strung on it and placed in the center of the line. Step back 6 cm from the edge of the wire to beautifully twist the loop. Up to 9 pieces are made on one thread, keeping an interval of 1 cm. Then the strips are folded in half, leaving one loop in the center.
You need to make at least 15 such copies. In a similar way, another 57 branches are woven, consisting of 11 loops. Large branches will be evenly distributed throughout the tree, and small ones will serve to form the crown.

Bugles of various shades of green must first be mixed in order to be strung on a thread in any order.

Competent bead weaving involves constant control of the number of objects connected so that the trees turn out to be of bright beauty. Therefore, the next step begins with a simple calculation of the starting material. Then the branches, which consist of 9 loops, are connected into small bouquets. There should be 5 of them.

A 1 mm thick wire is screwed to long branches and set aside. Next, a structure consisting of two trunks is formed. One is made from 3 branches, the other from 2. After this, a 3 mm thick wire is attached to each of them, wrapping it with threads.

To get a beautiful crown, 12 long shoots are tied to the upper edge of the trunk, consisting of 3 branches. 7 more elongated branches are attached to the remaining two. The connection is made so that the thick part of the structure rises 2 cm above the product. The hanging threads are wrapped with tape, leaving the ends below to make roots from them. As a result, they will serve as a reliable fastening of the tree to the base.

Plaster or alabaster is poured into a small container and a birch tree is placed in it. You need to secure it so that the structure stands directly in the center. After 12 hours, when the liquid has hardened, they begin to decorate the trunk.

To prevent paint from getting on green birch branches, they can be hidden under foil.

First, apply primer using PVA glue. After a few hours, the trunk is coated with white paint in two thin layers. Black decor is applied after the main layer has completely dried. After waiting some more time, they remove the foil, straighten the branches and admire the result of their efforts.

Patterns for weaving wood from beads

Video instructions for making willow from beads

Winter beauty - rowan

Many needlewomen have noticed that special patterns help them create magnificent trees from beads. They consist of a text manual and are often accompanied by a set of pictures. The main thing is to follow all the instructions from the masters to improve your skills.

For weaving, you need to prepare not only beads, but also bright red beads that resemble ripe berries. Since the rowan branches consist of 9 leaves and a pretty bunch, you will have to work hard to achieve the final goal. But you shouldn’t give up without testing your strength.

The first step is to cut a wire up to 70 cm long. String a green bead onto it, placing it in the very center. The next rad is formed by passing both ends of the wire simultaneously through 2 glass beads. You need to tighten them so that they are on top of the previous row. Using this principle, all 9 petals are collected.

The second step is berries. A black bead is placed on a 70 cm wire. Then both ends are threaded through the hole of a large scarlet bead. After this, they are passed through brown beads. One bunch must contain at least 16 berries.

The third step is to combine the berries with the leaves. Such a tree will require up to 100 such branches. The process is performed in the usual classical way.

The final stage - the finished branches are collected in a bunch, forming a lush crown. The ends of the wire are twisted around a rod, which serves as the trunk of the tree. The structure is dipped into a plaster solution and the autumn beauty is ready. The product can be used to decorate your home interior.

Despite the fact that beaded flowers and trees do not need moisture or sunlight, they require careful care. To keep them looking perfect, it is important to regularly remove dust from them. To do this, you can use a soft brush. It is advisable not to place it near a window. Due to sunlight, beads quickly lose their color, becoming dull. Such simple rules help you admire your handiwork for a long time.

Step-by-step weaving of an orange tree from beads

Video master class on making wood from beads

Today we decided to present to your attention another DIY craft - a tree made of beads. To make a tree from beads, which we will call “lilac magic”, we will need the following materials:

a) White, purple, pink, yellow and green beads;
b) Green wire 0.3 mm thick;
c) Brown tape;
d) Acrylic paints of several colors (brown, bronze, black, green);
e) Construction gypsum;
e) A piece of polystyrene foam;
g) Masking tape.

First we need to make a tree consisting of flowering branches and green twigs. To create beautiful flowering branches, pour pink and purple beads in equal proportions into a separate container and mix them thoroughly.

Now we begin to set the beads on the wire, while the wire from the main skein does not need to be torn off yet, and the total length of the beads to be strung on this wire should be about one meter. This length of wire thread with beads should be enough to create 70-100 branches for our future tree.

After this, let's step back about 10 cm from the edge of our wire and count out 10 beads.

We connect the resulting segment into a ring and twist the wire at the base to secure it.

We retreat half a centimeter from the resulting ring and make another similar ring-loop.

In the same way we make a few more such loops (7-15 pieces).

After this, we need to determine the middle ring-loop (in our case it is the seventh). Let's slightly separate the middle loop as in the photo and connect the ends of the wire.

Next, you need to give the branch a natural look; to do this, twist it and distribute all the rings-loops equidistant from each other and bend all the rings in the direction of the central loop. We have our first branch.

Leave some length of wire for the stem of the twig, and cut off the rest of the wire. Similarly, in the same sequence, we make another 35 of the same branches.

Using the same loop weaving technique, we must make green branches with leaves, using only green beads.

The next step is to assemble the tree. This procedure is carried out by first making one middle one from the three previous branches.

Then, these medium branches are combined into large branches.

Now large blanks of branches need to be lengthened and strengthened using denser wire one millimeter thick and wrapped with tape on top.

Let's collect all the branches into a small tree and strengthen the trunk with wire.

Let's take a foam blank and give it an oval shape. Now we take three pieces of polystyrene foam, the sizes of which are reduced by a pyramid. From these pieces of polystyrene we form a slide and secure the resulting structure with masking tape.

We attach the tree to the foam base. You can simply stick it into the foam and secure it around with wire.

Now we need to make the base of the tree more natural and durable; for this, pour about 100 ml of water into a separate small container and, constantly stirring the water, add plaster in small portions so that a thick but spreading solution is obtained. Since gypsum hardens very quickly, we make small portions and quickly apply the solution to the product. First we will make a trunk, then a rock, and at the end of this stage - stones around the perimeter of the stand.

It is convenient to apply plaster to wood using a thick brush with stiff bristles. Gypsum, flowing down the tree trunk, will form a characteristic relief. Depending on the desired thickness and shape of the trunk, you can apply from one to five layers of alabaster. After the plaster has completely dried, you should cover the trunk of the future tree with brown paint, the clearing near the tree with green paint, and the stones with white paint.

Then dip a dry brush or small sponge into the black acrylic and use a blotting motion to cover the rock and stones.

Using a dry sponge, randomly apply bronze paint at the base of the tree.

To give our clearing a beautiful look, we need to plant a lot of flowers, for this we apply a small amount of quick-drying and highly desirable transparent glue. Pour colorful beads onto it and wait for the glue to dry. After this, use a soft brush to remove excess beads. You can also plant flowers in the clearing, which we do in the same way as the twigs. In our case there will be flowers in the form of spikelets made of white and yellow beads.

We make cute flowers from purple beads. To do this, we will form five purple loops on the wire and at the end one yellow one. Those. the total number of loops obtained is six.

To get a flower from this wire blank, you need to wrap the purple loop rings around the yellow ring and twist it to secure it. We make green bushes in the same way. We will stick these flowers and bushes into the lawn near the tree.

In order for our flowers to easily fit into the foam, you can make narrow holes in it using an awl or a needle.
