Knitted scarves "chanterelles - sisters". Crocheted fox scarf: description and patterns How to knit a fox scarf for children

knitted scarves "Chanterelles - sisters"

This is the yarn I used.

The scarf consists of 3 parts: the head of the fox, the body and the tail. And as a finish (for reliability) - paws.

Knitting began with the head of a fox.

Upper head: for a gray fox - in 2 strands of gray "diamond",

for a red fox - in 2 strands of red "diamond",

knitting needles No. 3.5.

Cast on 6 loops.

1st row: Purl loops.

2nd row: 2 facial, 1 increase - facial from the broach, 2 facial, 1 increase-facial from the broach, 2 facial.

3rd row and all odd rows - purl.

4th row and all even rows with increments.

Continue knitting until there are 28 loops on the needles.

Knit 7 rows (out., persons., out., persons., out., persons., out.) without increments.

Now you need to decrease by knitting 2 loops after the edge loop together with a slope to the left, and before the last loop 2 loops each together with a slope to the right.

20 loops will remain on the knitting needle, they need to be removed on a pin or auxiliary knitting needle

Lower part of the muzzle: for a gray fox - in 2 strands of white "diamond", in 2 strands

gray;

for the red fox - in 2 strands of white "diamond", in 2 strands

redhead.

From the broaches of the initial row of the upper part of the head of the chanterelle (from the first 6 loops), cast on 5 loops with a light thread, knit with a stocking pattern. In each front row, add 2 loops on both sides - one after the edge and one before the last loop.

Increase to 25 loops, in the purl row, replace the white thread with a gray (red) thread and knit 5 rows without increments (purl, persons, purl, persons, purl) and start decreasing to 19 loops. Close loops.

Without cutting the thread, I crochet the head in a circle and turn it inside out, then cut the thread, leaving the tip 40-50 cm long, so that I can then sew the lower part of the muzzle to the scarf with this thread. But until the neck is sewn up.

Torso. Put 20 gray (red) loops on knitting needle No. 3.5 and continue with garter knitting in 3 threads - 1 thread gray (red) “diamond”, 2 threads of white (red) grass.

In the second and fourth rows, add two loops on both sides of knitting and continue on 24 loops to the desired length. I have 60 cm.

Tail. After the torso of the required length is connected, go to the knitting of the tail. Then knit with a 1x1 elastic band in 3 threads, in the second row add 2 loops (1 loop on each side). A tail 40 cm long knit gradually replacing the threads. For a gray fox, after 8 cm I replaced the gray “diamond” with a light gray semi-wool (the remains of a knitted cap with a shoulder), after another 8 cm, I replaced the light gray semi-wool with a white “diamond”, and then after 5 cm I replaced the white “diamond” on white grass and finished knitting with white grass in 3 threads. After 30 cm, she began to decrease on the tail on both sides, 1 loop each. The remaining 7 loops on the knitting needles, knitted with one loop and closed the knitting.

For the red fox on the tail, she gradually replaced the threads (initially 2 red “grass” and 1 red “diamond”) - at first she replaced one red “grass” thread with white “grass”, then she replaced the red “diamond” with white “grass”. She finished knitting with three threads of "grass", gradually reducing to 5 loops.

Head trim. She embroidered spots on the forehead of a gray fox with white grass. I stuffed the muzzle with padding polyester and hemmed the neck with the left thread.

Ears: cast on 16 stitches with gray thread; 1 row - purl; 2nd row - front, immediately begin to make decreases - 7 and 8 loops along with a slope to the left, 9 and 10 loops along with a slope to the right. Knit until there are 4 stitches left on the needle. Knit a wrong side row, and in the next front row, start making additions of 2 loops in a row until 16 loops are formed on the knitting needles again. Fold the ears in half and sew with the same thread, leaving the tip of such a length that you can sew the ears to the head of the fox.

For a gray fox, she tied the ears with white "grass".

Front paws.

For the red fox: cast on 6 loops with black diamond yarn, knit 10 rows in garter stitch, continue with the red diamond, adding 2 loops in the 12th row. Knit another 13 rows. There are 23 rows in total. Close the loops, leave the thread so long that you can sew the paws to the scarf with it.

For a gray fox: cast on 6 loops with a gray thread “diamond”, knit 10 rows with a garter stitch, add 1 thread of white “grass” and knit another 14 rows. There are 24 rows in total.

Back paws.

For the red fox: cast on 6 loops with black thread (in 2 threads), knit 10 rows with garter stitch and continue with the red “diamond” thread for another 18 rows. There are 28 loops in total. Close, leaving a thread for sewing.

For a gray fox: cast on 6 loops with a gray thread “diamond” (in 2 threads) and knit 10 loops with a garter stitch, add 1 thread of white “grass” and knit another 19 rows. There are 29 rows in total. Close, leaving a thread for sewing.

A cheerful fox scarf will cheer up not only its lucky owner. At what, how to wear and knit such a charm is very interesting and pleasant. You know that this product will bring a lot of joy to others. I had to knit a fox scarf spontaneously. Previously, I had never even caught my eye on the Internet and it never occurred to me to knit an animal scarf. A friend who came to visit asked me to knit such a cheerful scarf for her and showed me pictures of already existing creations on the Internet. I don’t think for long, I bought bright orange yarn in the store and let’s get creative. Below you will find a description of how I knitted a fox scarf. In general, the fox scarf is knitted very easily, in a circle, with double crochets ... I just had to tinker a little with the muzzle so that it looked like a fox, alternate white and orange yarn, and then also count to make a description. And so, let's get started.

Description of knitting fox scarf

As I mentioned above, the scarf is knitted in a circle, at the beginning of the row, instead of CCH, we collect 3 air p. for lifting, at the end of the row we make a connecting loop.

We start knitting from the tail, with white yarn.

1 p. in the initial loop we knit 6 sc

2 p. in each loop we knit 2 dc = 12 dc

3 p. 6 times (raise, 1 dc) = 18 dc

4 p. 6 times (2 dc, raise) = 24 dc

5 p. without increments = 24 CCH

6 p. 1 CCH, increase, 5 times (3 CCH, increase), 2 CCH = 30 CCH

7 p. without increments = 30 CCH

8 p. 6 times (4 dc, increase), = 36 dc

9 - 10 p. without increments = 36 CCH

11 p. 2 dc raise, 5 times (5 dc raise), 3 dc = 42 dc

27 p. Knit every 6 and 7 stitches together (6 times) = 36 dc

28 p. Knit every 5 and 6 stitches together (6 times) = 30 dc

29 p. without reductions = 30 CCH

30 r. Knit every 4 and 5 stitches together (6 times) = 24 dc

31 p. Do evenly 3 decreases = 21 dc

32 -33 p. no reduction = 21 CCH

34 p. Increase: 10 times (increase, 1 dc), increase = 32 dc

35 p. do evenly 8 additions: 1dc, increase, 7 times (3 dc, increase), 2 dc = 40 dc

35 - 99 = 40 CCH Attention: while knitting a long fabric, I twice moved the beginning of knitting a row to the left with connecting loops so that the seam from connecting the rows always remained on one side (wrong side).

From the 100th row we knit a muzzle, you need to alternate white (B) and orange yarn (O). I moved the beginning of the row to the edge of the left edge (on the wrong side) with connecting loops.

109 p. Black yarn 1 lifting loop, 9 RLS, conn.p.

110 r. no change, 9 sc

111 r. 3 times (1 sc, 2 sc together) = 6 sc

Tighten the hole.

The scarf at this stage is connected. It remains to tie the paws and ears.

With black yarn, knit 8 CCHs in the initial loop, connect in a circle of connection. Then knit in a circle for 15 rows.

Make 4 paws of arbitrary length. I made the hind legs a little (2-3 rows) longer.

Each ear consists of 2 parts: black and orange. Knit in the same way as follows:

2-3 p. 5 sc

9-10 p. 5 sc

Fold the black and orange parts together and tie together with orange yarn along the edge. I attached the connected ears to the 98th row. You can go higher if you like.

Sew on eyes.

I hope the description is clear and without errors. Don't be afraid to experiment and try. Excellent mood and successful incarnations!

Description.

We start knitting from the tail - with a white thread

4 ch, in the first loop of the chain we knit 2 dc.
2 p. 7 CCH, we do the increase like this - in the first loop 2CCH, then 3CCH in the next. loop, 2 dc in the last loop
3 p. 11 CCH - we make increases along the edges on both sides in each of the first two loops we knit 2 CCH, at the end we knit 2 CCH in the last two loops
4 p. 15 CCH - increase in the same way as the previous row
5 p. 19 SSN
6 p. 23 SSN
7 p. 25 CCH
8 p. 25 CCH
9 p. 27 SSN
10 p. 27 SSN
11 p. 27 SSN

We throw an orange thread on the finger and knit the column to the end

Now I wanted to make it look like the inclusion of orange in the white part (I don’t know what else to call it). In short, the first double crochet I knit in the top of the double crochet is not the last row, but the row in front of it

Then a double crochet tied in the middle of the previous row's stitch and finally knit further as usual, but 2 more times on each side I make stitches to the top of the double crochet not of the last row, but of the row in front of it

Next, we knit an "elastic band" with a crochet - we alternate convex and concave columns with a crochet. We knit like this 11 cm - like the width of my scarf. Then again we knit with double crochets to the desired length of the scarf (do not forget that there will still be a muzzle).

We knit the muzzle as follows. At first, I decreased 2 loops on each side in one row, in the next 1 loop on each side, then knitted a row with convex double crochets (this is how I made the "neck"). On next row, add 3 sts on each side.

Next, we attach a white thread - we knit 5 dc in white, 17 dc in orange, 5 dc in white. In the following rows, we will decrease one loop on each side - we knit like this - in white - 1 CCH, decrease - 1 CCH from two loops, 3 CCH, then 15 CCH in orange, then white - 3 CCH, decrease, 1 CCH. Thus, despite the decrease, the number of white columns remains unchanged, and the number of orange columns decreases. So we knit until 13 loops remain. Then we knit as follows - in white - 1 CCH, decrease - 1 CCH from two loops, 3 CCH, then from 3 orange loops we knit a common column with white, then 3 CCH, decrease, 1 CCH.

Next, we knit only in white - we make decreases in 1 loop on both sides. In the next row we knit like this - 1 dc, 2 dc together, 3 dc together, 2 dc together, 1 dc. Then 1 dc, 2 dc2n (columns with 2 crochets) together through one loop, 1 dc.

Then we begin to knit the reverse side of the muzzle (in white). We make increases symmetrically to the decreases of the upper part. Then we fold the muzzle in half and sew a little along the edges in the upper part - about 1 cm.

We knit ears - each of 2 triangles - orange and white. I have 8 loops at the base of the triangle, then another row of 8 loops, then in each row I decrease 1 loop on each side. Then I tie both parts together with single crochets in orange. Button eyes and nose too.

Everybody! All light loops.

Fox Paws is a rectangular knitted shawl scarf with a distinctive striped motif that looks like little mutually connected fox paw prints. This very interesting and famous fox paws pattern has already caused a lot of noise among knitters, some are already doing their paid master classes, changing its names, but Handy Peters developed the method of such knitting by presenting it for the first time in a scarf model. It can be knitted from two or more colors without any broaching or intarsia technique. If you master this pattern, you will be able to knit not only a scarf, but also other wonderful excellent products.

The scarf pattern featured in this article is made with a five-color fox paw pattern that rotates in each repeat, creating different variations, but you can use any color alternation you wish.

Description of knitting scarf *Fox paws*:

Shawl scarf size: rectangle measuring 70 x 20˝ (127 x 43 cm). Ready-made description of knitting a scarf.

You can buy a description of the scarf on vjazhi.ru and ravelry where you can find a lot of material and see combinations of possible color solutions. And on this forum it has already been knitted and there are a lot of tips and tricks.

While knitting a scarf, you have to change the thread to a different color every 2-6 rows, the video below tells you how to do this.
During knitting, non-traditional additions are performed, in which after adding two loops, you have to return the last 2 loops to the left knitting needle, the video below tells you how to do this.

Materials for knitting a scarf shawl Fox paws:

Yarn KnitPicksPalette, 211 meters in 50 grams:

Color A: 1 skein brown thicket,

Color B: 1 skein terracotta rooibosheather,

Color C: 1 skein of beige corianderheather,

Color D: 1 skein mustard yellow serpentine,

Color E: 1 skein marsh green.

spokes: 4mm circular needles, 32˝.

Other materials: tapestry needle, pins.

Knitting density: 2 repeats x 2 repeats of fox paws = 6 x 7˝ (15 x 18 cm).

According to the description for 121 p., You get 5 full cloves and 2 half cloves on the sides. The pattern becomes visible only to a wide strip of 6 rows of the same color.

The fox paw pattern is of medium complexity, but recommended for those who like more complex and original patterns, because it consists of a large number of additions and subtractions.

For the color sequence, follow the color scheme attached to the description.

An empty scheme is also offered. Color the chart with your colors to find the perfect color scheme for your Fox Paws scarf.

You can vary with your shades, opting for a brighter color or a more muted pastel.

It is convenient to separate rapports, that is, sections between **, with markers, and next. in a row, when you knit with facial loops, you remove them, so there is less chance of making a mistake.

Perhaps it will be useful to someone:
table of changes in the number of loops by row for different widths

Our column in the table is the sixth (six repetitions of the pattern) ...
Recruiting: a multiple of 20 + 1
Row 2: Multiplicity 28 + 1
Row 4: Multiplicity 50 + 1
Row 6: Multiplicity 50 + 1
Row 8: Multiplicity 28 + 1
Line 10: multiple of 20 + 1
Line 11, 12: multiple of 20 + 1 (remains unchanged)

Recommendation about increasing the number of colors.
Since there are 5 colors in the original and 6 stripes in the vertical repeat, the colors are constantly shifted by one step, so that the new color is always used in a wide strip. With 6 colors, the colors will not shift, there will always be the same color on all and on a wide band. By choosing for example 7 colors, the shift effect is preserved
1 time A, B, C, D, E, F
2 times G, A, B, C, D, E
3 times F, G, A, B, C, D
4 times E, F, G, A, B, C
5 times D, E, F, G, A, B
6 times C, D, E, F, G, A
7 times B, C, D, E, F, G
8 times A, B... and beyond.

How to hide the ends of the threads and knit a neat edge

I knit as for the first time with edge loops, I knit them in each row, and in rows 8 and 9 I knit an edge loop several times (before each knitting loops together). The knot is located between the first and edge loops, and I try to twist and hide the ends of the threads in these edge and first loops.

I knit the ends not of different colors, but of the same color, after knitting two rows, I crochet the ends inside out and closer to each other, there I knit them and cut them close to the knot, it seems to come out quite imperceptibly.
