On the eve of the holiday New Year, I wanted to make small souvenirs for the parents of my group. Since I recently discovered technique"kanzashi"(I knew about her for a long time, but now I myself am only taking the first steps in this field, I decided to take christmas toys on the Christmas tree in this technique. Hope, toys, made by me with great love, will appeal to both parents and children of my group, and they will be happy to decorate their Christmas tree with my gifts. So we need:

Satin ribbon 5cm wide. ;

Satin ribbon 2-2.5 cm wide (for bow);

Satin ribbon with a width of 0.5 cm-1 cm. (for loop and decoration);

Various beads;

Lighter (or candle);

Glue gun.

We take a satin ribbon of two colors, 5 cm wide.

We cut squares 5 by 5 cm. We need 12 of these squares of each color.

Then we turn triangles from squares.

Then we put the triangle one on top of the other.

We fold the double triangle so that one is inside the other.

We solder the corners and the base of the triangle with a lighter.

We make 12 such triangles.

We glue the triangles with a soldered edge to the center, insert a ribbon for the loop and decoration in the middle. decorate toy bows, beads to your liking. here's what happened to me.

There was a whole box of gifts.

Master class "New Year's toys from salt dough" Veselova Alexandra Vladimirovna New Year is a magical time for our children. And get ready.

Hello, dear readers of the site! Beautiful and unique Christmas decorations can be made by hand. There are very simple techniques, there are quite complex ones. Today, our needlewoman Alena shares a step-by-step master class on creating a bright, beautiful New Year's ball: This technique is also called "artichoke". You will need simple materials that are easy to purchase at any needlework store. Choose the colors of the ribbons and combine them to your liking. Also don't forget to watch the tutorial on making kanzashi Christmas trees from satin ribbons

Materials:

  • White satin ribbon (width 2.5 cm) - 3 m
  • Blue satin ribbon (width 2.5 cm) - 3 m
  • Blue satin ribbon (width 1 cm) - 30 cm
  • Styrofoam ball - diameter 8 cm
  • glue gun
  • Ruler, scissors

How to make a Christmas tree toy with your own hands:

Wide ribbons must be cut into pieces 5 centimeters long.

Each of the cut pieces must be folded into a triangle. To do this, we bend the edges of the cut to the lower central part of the workpiece and iron the workpiece with an iron.

When all the triangles are ready, we begin to assemble the ball. Glue a piece of blue ribbon (5 cm long) to the center of the ball. Next, glue 2 white and blue triangles to the ball with a sharp part towards the middle.

Glue the triangles in the second row, alternating colors in a checkerboard pattern. First we glue the white triangles, then the blue ones - only 8 pieces. In the third and subsequent rows, glue the triangles, placing them a centimeter below the previous row, following the same chess technique.

The last 2 rows will consist of 4 triangles, as the area of the ball will decrease. The last step is to form a voluminous bow with a loop from a narrow ribbon. Glue the bow to the top of the Christmas decoration.

Christmas ball is ready!

Happy New Year!

For viewing, I offer a video master class on making a New Year's ball from satin ribbons from the EXCLUSIVE club channel

We all love the New Year for the invariable fragrant Christmas tree, a lot of all kinds of Christmas decorations, funny lights and, of course, gifts! These are all nice things, but to make them even more festive and even more enjoyable, let's complicate the task: instead of buying it all in the store, we will make Christmas decorations -! Let's suffer a little creative agony, dream, and then let's take and MAKE something "such", for example, a cone on a Christmas tree in the Japanese style of kanzashi!

The kanzashi technique came to us from ancient Japan, where it appeared more than 400 years ago! Beautiful Japanese women wore all sorts of pins and hairpins made from silk ribbons using this technique! Time passed, European beauties appreciated the jewelry and craftsmen appeared, ready to fulfill any whim ... and learn new things.

Having learned how to perform the main element, you will also be able to create a wide variety of things, but for now, let's get started.

To make such a beautiful cone with your own hands, you should stock up not only with patience, but also with some specific tools and materials, namely:

  • Dostochka;
  • Sharp scissors;
  • Soldering iron or lighter;
  • Bright satin ribbons, or strips of silk or organza in blue and silver, 2.5 cm wide;
  • A small piece of white tape 5 cm wide;
  • Mount for a Christmas tree toy;
  • Glue "Moment-gel" or glue gun (hot);
  • Special tweezers;
  • Monofilament;
  • Thin long needle;
  • Table tennis ball;
  • Thin silver loop cord;
  • Simple pencil;
  • Thin tape or a small jar of cream;
  • Ruler.

We will do all the manipulations on a regular kitchen board - so as not to damage the surface.

  • We cut our ribbons into squares, use a ruler so that the squares are really square, not rectangular!

To free up your other hand a little and make the process as convenient as possible, come up with a stand for your ball: a jar of cream, even a simple adhesive tape is ideal as a stand.

  • Now we need to wrap all the squares into triangles. We do this using tweezers. Using a soldering iron or a regular lighter, we melt the edges of the triangles, thereby fixing the desired shape and preventing the threads from loosening:

For those who do not know or have forgotten: triangles are made like this: the ribbon square is bent in half diagonally, and then doubled again:

  • We carry out the first row of silvery triangles, gluing them with Moment-Gel or a glue gun directly onto the blue square. Sharp corners should “look” inside the blue square, and the distance between the triangles should be about 2 cm:

  • The second row is made from the same silver triangles. They need to be glued in a checkerboard pattern between already glued triangles.

  • The third row is performed in a similar way - with silver triangles glued in between the triangles of the previous row:

  • The next two rows are already made with blue triangles. The principle of their location is the same as that of silver blanks.

  • We continue row after row to fulfill our cone, alternating colors after 2 rows:

  • Having reached the penultimate rows, we again paste the blue square on the tennis ball:

  • We decorate our cone. To do this, we take a small piece (10-15 cm) of a white satin ribbon, fuse it with its edges to make a ring and sew it with a basting seam on one side.

  • And now we need to glue (or sew) a real mount to the new cone!

  • And now we take a silver thin cord and thread it into the attachment loop. We tie a strong knot and the New Year's toy "bump" in the Japanese style of kanzashi is ready:

This technique is very interesting and exciting to work with. Therefore, if you have a desire to create some other Christmas tree "miracle", then we will be happy to help you with this!

To make this wreath, you will need all the same tools, golden beads and two types of ribbons: wide green (5 cm wide) and thin bright red (0.5 cm wide).
This Christmas tree toy is made from the same triangles, but they need to be “improved” a little, see the photo instruction:\

4. And now we carefully glue all 10 fragments one on top of the other, while wrapping a little in a circle so that we can easily form a Christmas wreath from the resulting semicircular blank:

5. We connect the edges of the workpiece together and we get a wreath of ribbons in the style of kanzashi. But in order for this wreath to become Christmas, you need to decorate it properly! To do this, take the beads, in this case, golden in color and glue, or sew them to the wreath. Then, finally, a thin scarlet ribbon waited for our attention, from which we will tie a beautiful bow and sew (or glue) it to the wreath!

In the style of kanzashi, you can make a wide variety of toys, you have already seen this!

Herringbone - kanzashi pendant

To make just such a Christmas tree, you will need a wide green ribbon, a thin red ribbon, a wide brown ribbon and a fastening clip!

Here, sharp and round petals are made from a green ribbon (to be precise: 3 round and 5 sharp), these leaves are glued together in a certain order. The brown ribbon is twisted into a tube and glued as a Christmas tree trunk. A scarlet ribbon with a beautiful bright bow sits on the very top of the Christmas tree!

All creative work is completed by gluing the workpiece to the mount! And now hang the decoration toy wherever you want: not a Christmas tree, on a curtain, on a blouse, or right in your hair!

But in this article we will talk about New Year's crafts from satin ribbons. Crafts can be simple or made using a special Japanese technique - kanzashi.

Herringbone

Let's start our crafts according to tradition with the symbol of the New Year - from the Christmas tree. Someone prefers to put up a big Christmas tree, but for someone such a pleasure is an unaffordable luxury (pets or small children consider it their duty to overturn a forest beauty decorated with lanterns and New Year's garlands).
