Master class on needlework "Vanka - vstanka"

The craft is made in the technique of volumetric quilling from corrugated cardboard.

This figure can be made by both adults and children of primary school age.

The figurine is made in such a way that Roly-Vstanka really returns to a vertical position after tilting. But for this you will have to tinker with the lower part of the body a little to achieve this effect.

For crafts you will need:

Corrugated cardboard: brown, red, yellow, green, pink.

PVA glue, scissors, ruler, pencil, eyes.

Color office paper: yellow, pink and brown.

Part preparation:

Cut the cardboard into strips 10 mm wide: brown-2 pcs, red-2 pcs, yellow-2 pcs, green-2 pcs, pink 1 pc.

Cut office paper into strips 3 mm wide. 1 each: pink, yellow and brown.

1. For the torso, perform two basic rolls, using two red and brown stripes for the bottom, and green, pink and yellow stripes for the top.

2. Give the upper part of the body a pear-shaped shape, and the lower part - the shape of an elongated hemisphere.

Advice: Pulling out the volume, pay attention to the width of the colored stripes: brown - boots, red - harem pants, green - shirt, pink - face and yellow - hairstyle.

3. From the remaining brown strip, cut two pieces of 25 mm. and round off one side. These are the ears of the hat.

4. Cut off 45 mm pieces from the green strip. are the sleeves of the shirt.

5. Cut two more pieces 35mm long. and glue them along the long side, placing a brown paper strip of the same length on the bottom. This is an accordion.

6. From the remnants of the brown strip of corrugated cardboard, make the base roll - the top of the hat - and glue the ears under the last winding.

7. Cut two pieces of brown paper strip for earflaps.

8. Cut curls from a yellow paper strip, make a basic nose roll from a pink one.

9. Cut out the mouth and harmonica parts from red cardboard. From yellow, cut out the buttons of the accordion, and from pink, the palms of the figures.

Composition assembly:

1. Glue both parts of the figurine using a yellow strip of corrugated cardboard. (Photos 12,12a, 12b, 12c)

2. Glue the curls to the inside of the earflap, then fasten it to the head of the figurine.

3. Glue the nose and eyes (if there are no ready-made eyes, then they can be made from the same paper and beads), the sleeves of the shirt and the palms of the figures to them.

4. Collect the accordion and give it to Vanka.

5. The last step is to glue the ties to the ears of the hat.
