In addition, do not forget about three more things that are beneficial for the beauty of your skin: adequate sleep, sufficient exposure to fresh air and the consciousness of the joy of life.

Neck and décolleté care

The décolleté and neck area is always open to the eyes of men, especially in spring and summer, when we put on dresses and sundresses. It requires special care, because the skin of the neck is very thin, blood circulation in this area is slow, it is more sensitive and signs of aging may appear earlier.

The skin loses its tone, horizontal wrinkles and a double chin appear. The neck, just like the arms, reveals a woman’s age, and in order not to resort to the help of surgeons, you need to take care of it in time.

Caring for the neck and décolleté includes three main points:

Cleansing, nutrition and hydration. When choosing cosmetics, you can use the same products that you buy for the face (with the exception of products for oily facial skin), or buy special cosmetics for the décolleté area.

Remember that ordinary scrubs and body creams are not suitable for this delicate part of the skin!

Neck and décolleté care

Daily care

Lifting products that help remove moisture from the top layer of skin and tighten it provide only a temporary effect. It is much more important to constantly use moisturizing and nourishing creams and masks - the same ones that are intended for the face and containing vitamin F. But remember - creams designed for oily skin are not suitable for the skin of the neck, since it is always either normal or dry. It is good to wipe your neck with a cool infusion of chamomile flowers, linden blossom, mint and oak bark (1 teaspoon each, brew 1 liter of boiling water, let it brew for 20 minutes and then strain).

Regular procedures

To exfoliate dead cells, use scrubs that are designed specifically for this area, a terry mitt or a massage brush with very soft bristles. After scrubs, it is good to apply a nourishing mask to the prepared skin, which should be done at least once a week.

Constant use of a neck mask will help improve the condition of your skin: reduce the depth of wrinkles and prevent the formation of new ones, eliminate sagging. This is very important: a woman with a wrinkled, flabby neck looks unattractive and older than her age.

Age-related changes in the skin of the neck begin to appear earlier than on the face. This is due to its physiological characteristics. And leading an unhealthy lifestyle, the habit of keeping your head down only aggravates the problem. Masks have properties that help skin tissues function properly, which means they look healthy.

Beneficial features

The mask has beneficial properties for the skin of the neck, which include the following:

  1. Nutrition . The skin tissue of the neck is equipped with a small number of blood vessels, which have poor blood circulation - the access of many nutrients is limited.
  2. Hydration. A constant lack of moisture due to a small amount of subcutaneous fat does not allow the skin of the neck to properly cope with dynamic loads, and causes the formation of folds on the surface.
  3. Elimination of pigment spots. Excess melanin often accumulates in this area.
  4. Pull-up.

Indications and contraindications for the use of the mask

In young representatives of the fair sex, the skin on the neck may sag due to sudden weight loss, the presence of diseases and the use of low-quality cosmetics. With the help of lifting masks for the neck and with the addition of collagen, you can return the skin to its toned shape.

Unfortunately, the aging process cannot be stopped, but it is quite possible to slow it down. There are many home remedies for rejuvenation. One of them is an anti-wrinkle face mask, the constant use of which will restore elasticity to the skin.

Anti-aging masks

The first thing that reveals a woman’s age is, of course, her face. Young girls, having no problems with their skin, forget to take care of it at all. And when the time comes for the first wrinkles, all the products from the cosmetic store go in. You need to start monitoring the condition of your facial skin at home from the age of 25. It is this age that becomes the starting point for the slowdown of all processes in the body, including a decrease in skin elasticity. If you are already showing signs of aging, we suggest you try making anti-wrinkle face masks at home. Which mask you choose depends on what ingredients you have in your refrigerator.

  • Potato anti-wrinkle smoothing mask

Boil the potatoes in their skins in advance, cool, and peel. Mash with sour cream and milk, taken one tbsp. spoon. Add one teaspoon each of glycerin and sunflower oil to the same mixture. Leave on your face for about twenty minutes. This mask is best suited for dry skin.

  • Honey

Heat two teaspoons of honey in a water bath, then add the same amount of flour and one raw protein. Mix everything well. Apply at home for fifteen minutes. Then wash off the face with warm water.

  • Yeast

Dissolve the yeast, to which then add one tbsp. a spoonful of sunflower oil. Use on facial skin against wrinkles for twenty minutes.

  • From aloe and honey

Add one tbsp. spoon of honey until liquid. Then stir until smooth with two tbsp. spoons of aloe juice. Leave this product on your face for fifteen to twenty minutes.

All presented anti-wrinkle face masks are good for their versatility: you can prepare them at home and use them on both dry and oily skin.

Masks intended for the neck and décolleté

On the skin of the neck and décolleté, the first wrinkles may appear earlier than on the face. This is due to thin skin, as well as the absence of sebaceous glands in these areas. Another important detrimental factor is sagging neck muscles, which are little involved in work during the day. You can correct the situation at home using an anti-wrinkle face mask, which can be applied to the skin of the neck and décolleté.

  • Parsley anti-wrinkle mask

You need to pour four tbsp. spoons of finely chopped parsley with boiled milk (250 ml). After the liquid has stood for five minutes, soak gauze, a handkerchief or a thin cotton towel in it. Then wrap it around your neck and décolleté.

  • Wheat germ mask

This smoothing mask is designed specifically for the skin against wrinkles of the neck and décolleté. Mix together jojoba, peach kernel and wheat germ oils. Add lemon juice and fine sea salt. Take all ingredients one tbsp. spoon. Apply the finished mixture to the skin, covering the top with cling film, then with a towel or scarf. Hold for twenty minutes.

  • Protein mask for the neck and décolleté area

It consists of one fresh protein, one teaspoon of any vegetable oil and juice from half a lemon. Take gauze and wet it with the resulting mass. Apply to your neck and décolleté for ten minutes.

  • Mask from Hercules

Take slow-cooking porridge and first pour hot milk over it for twenty minutes. You will see that the flakes have swollen. Let them cook in a water bath for a maximum of ten minutes. Wait until the porridge has cooled a little, and then add one tbsp. a spoonful of honey. Apply it to the skin of your neck and décolleté for twenty minutes.

  • Smoothing potato mask

Make a puree of two potatoes, to which add one teaspoon of honey and glycerin. Cover the entire neck and décolleté area with the mixture. Wash off after twenty minutes.

  • Caring mask

To prepare it, take one teaspoon each of lemon juice and sour cream, as well as any fatty cream. After mixing all the ingredients, treat the skin of the face, neck and décolleté. This product is well suited for mature and dry skin.

Masks based on essential oils

You can experiment on your own and combine certain flavors if you wish. Make up cosmetics for the skin of the face and other areas at the rate of two to three drops of essential oil per 10 ml of base oil. For the base, use jojoba or avocado vegetable oil. If you don’t have such oil on hand, then you can easily replace it with another (sunflower, olive, peach, etc.), but the effect will be reduced.

A mask based on various essential oils is suitable for the face, neck and décolleté. Apply it along the lines of least stretch of the skin. Wash off after ten to twenty minutes.

Use essential oils according to skin types:
