In the last week of December, according to the “From Birth to School” program, we continue to introduce children to the traditions of the New Year holiday, create a positive emotional mood and arrange New Year’s entertainment, where everyone will receive gifts from Santa Claus. Poems, the content of educational research activities, didactic games for the development of speech and cognitive abilities can be found in the appendix to the plan “Thematic week “New Year is coming!”
Social and communicative development
Despite the festive mood, the teacher reminds children about safety rules, discusses the fairy tale “How a Truck Was Looking for a Friend” and organizes other events aimed at the social and communicative development of children.
Cognitive development
Cognitive development continues. The teacher plans games that are already familiar to children, in order to consolidate the ability to play together and follow the rules. The teacher offers children equipment for independent experimentation, stimulating the desire to explore the world around them.
Speech development
The teacher organizes the recitation of proverbs, learning New Year's poems, games for the development of fine motor skills, and introduces games for speech development “Add a word”, “Multi-colored chest”.
Artistic and aesthetic development
To maintain a festive mood in the field of artistic and aesthetic development, the teacher plans to draw “Funny Snowmen” with pencils, make New Year’s gifts “Christmas tree toy” - decorate blanks from salt dough.
Physical development
In the field of physical development, the teacher plans round dance games, dramatized songs that are familiar to children in order to entertain the children and repeat the words and rules of the games.
