Shiny heavy hair always gives its owner a younger look, so use nourishing balms and hair rinses. If the shade of the hair has faded, and it is too early to dye the roots, use a coloring shampoo. It will make the color more vibrant and shiny, but will only last until the next shampoo. There is gray hair, which is very difficult to color. In this case, a bristly mixture is used, its secret is that there is more dye in it than in a conventional product. To prepare such a composition, you need to take 1.5-2 parts of the dye and one part of the oxidizing agent. Here are some special secrets that will help you dye your gray hair effectively. In order for the paint to penetrate the hair, it must be opened, for this an oxidizing agent of 3 or 6% is applied, depending on the density of the surface, it is aged for 10 minutes. Then the excess liquid is dried with a towel, and then the hair is dyed as usual. Start applying paint from the temporal-parietal zone, usually there are the most gray hairs. This will increase the exposure time of the paint in this area. Oddly enough, but dyeing is even useful for gray hair. After all, they have a lot of voids, and the coloring pigment fills them, making the hair denser and less brittle. Gray locks are often silver on the heads of very young ladies. And everyone wants to get rid of an unpleasant phenomenon, believing such a “gift” is a sign of impending old age. Chemical dyes can do the job, but what if the paint is excluded for a number of reasons?
Folk remedies are harmless to hair health and quite effective. Such dyes are almost impossible to cope with extensive gray hair, and the result of staining will last only until the first wash. But you can experiment with them as much as you like, without fear of harming your hair.
Tea
You can remove silvery strands with a mask based on black tea:
- For the composition, 50 g of tea is brewed in 0.5 liters of boiling water. The mixture is infused for an hour. The solution is filtered.

You can carry out staining procedures with a break of one day until the desired shade is obtained.
Henna and basma
Honored fighters with gray hair recognized natural paints basma and henna. To get rid of gray hair for sure, you will have to color the strands twice or thrice.
Compositions with both paints are prepared similarly. The powder is brewed with boiling water, diluted to the density of sour cream, insisted for five minutes. Dye when the mixture cools to a skin-tolerant temperature. Prepare the composition immediately before the procedure. Since the mixture does not foam and is not distributed over the strands as easily as shampoo, it is advisable to prepare more products. They do it like this:
- Pour a bag of henna into a glass or ceramic container.
- Add water until a homogeneous thick slurry is obtained. You can optionally add a few drops of essential oil or yolk to the composition for a more even distribution of the mixture on the strands.
- They cover the hair with a film, wrap it with a towel and hold it for as long as indicated in the instructions, and then wash it off.
Henna will give the curls a reddish or reddish tint. Basma is used to get a darker tone without redness. However, one basma will color the strands green, so be sure to mix basma with henna to get a noble tone. The ratio of ingredients is calculated individually, depending on the desired effect and hair length.
There are two ways to use these paints. In the first, henna and basma are used sequentially, washing off each time, in the second they are mixed. It is necessary to select proportions individually. If you add a few large spoons of cognac or coffee to the composition, the shade will change.
The intensity of the shade does not depend on the exposure time, so it makes no sense to keep the composition as long as possible: this is a sure way to overdry the strands.
If your hair was previously dyed with a chemical dye, it is reasonable to test a natural remedy on one strand. If the result is positive, you can cover the rest of the curls with the composition.
In order not to get orange or dark stains on the skin as a result of the procedure, olive oil or a fat cream is applied to the dermis before staining.

Chamomile
Chamomile will give a gray-haired head a pleasant golden hue. But the composition is effective only on the condition that the gray hair on the head is not more than thirty percent. Otherwise, the shine of the hair will increase, and their tone will not change, the gray hair will not decrease. Prepare a decoction as follows:
- 100 g of dried chamomile inflorescences are poured into 0.5 liters of boiling water. The container is covered with a lid and kept for an hour.
