How to wash your hair to make your hair shine. Mask of chamomile infusion, yolk and honey. How to make your hair shiny

Almost every girl faces the deterioration of her hair, so the most common question is how to make your hair smooth and shiny at home. Fortunately, there is a huge variety of natural products that have a positive effect on the appearance of hair, strengthen hair follicles, enrich them with nutrients, even out texture and restore the natural balance of water.

Any girl should remember that rinsing is a mandatory procedure that completes every hair wash. It is this event that affects the beauty of hair, its shine and tints. There are many recipes that have a beneficial effect on hair:

  • Rinsing with very cold water promotes the “collapse” of hair scales. As a result, the curls are smoothed and shimmer beautifully in the sun. The only condition is that you should not pour water very close to the root zone, so as not to touch the scalp, because this is fraught with colds;
  • Grind a large aloe leaf into a pulp, pour in a liter of warm water, let it brew for a quarter of an hour, then strain. If you don’t have this plant at home, a pharmacy ampoule of aloe dissolved in the same amount of water will do. Such a rinse is guaranteed to make your hair shiny and very smooth;
  • to three liters of water, add 50 milliliters of apple cider vinegar and rinse the curls. This concentration of the solution will allow the pungent odor to quickly disappear, and the mop will acquire a healthy shine, silkiness and be cleared of excess fat;
  • Mix 15 grams of regular tea leaves with the same amount of crushed dried mint leaves, pour in a liter of boiling water and leave for a quarter of an hour. After the tincture has cooled, it must be strained and then rinsed the curls. This recipe is best used by dark-haired ladies;
  • mix 15 grams of chamomile, horsetail and nettle, pour in a liter of just boiled water, let it brew for half an hour, strain;
  • golden-haired beauties should rinse the head with water to which freshly squeezed carrot juice has been added;
  • For fair-haired young ladies, rinsing with chamomile infusion is suitable. To prepare it, you need to pour 40 grams of herb with a glass of boiling water and let it brew for 30 minutes. Before use, the strained infusion must be diluted with a liter of clean water.

Hair masks

Without a doubt, one of the most effective means of knowing how to quickly make your hair smooth and shiny at home are masks. They contain all the vitamins and minerals necessary to improve hair health, stimulate growth, add shine, silkiness and impeccable smoothness. Homemade masks are not inferior in effectiveness to cosmetics based on chemicals, and cost mere pennies, so any beauty can afford a simple but effective care product:

  • Mash the pulp of two large watermelon slices into a paste, squeeze out the juice and apply to your curls. Wrap in plastic wrap, insulate with a towel, leave for half an hour;
  • heat 100 milliliters of kefir, apply to hair, paying special attention to the root zone, wrap in plastic and insulate. After an hour, the mask must be washed off with warm water;
  • mix olive, almond, peach and burdock oils in equal quantities, heat a little, distribute over the entire length of the hair, wrap with film, insulate and leave for 2-3 hours. The oil cocktail is washed off with regular shampoo. If you can’t wash your hair well, you should pour a small amount of cognac or vodka into the shampoo;
  • Using a blender, mix raw chicken yolk, the pulp of half a banana, 30 milliliters of freshly squeezed lemon juice, 15 milliliters of olive oil and light honey in a container. Distribute the mask on your hair, warm it, leave for 30 minutes, rinse with cool water;
  • beat a raw egg, pour in 30 milliliters of castor oil, 10 milliliters each of acetic acid and glycerin, mix thoroughly. Spread the resulting nutrient cocktail over the hay, wrap it in plastic, wrap it in a towel and leave for two hours. Wash your hair in the usual way, rinse your hair with a decoction of chamomile or burdock roots;
  • Brew coffee, separate one tablespoon, add to it 3 tablespoons of heated olive oil and 5 drops of orange ether. The mixture should be applied to the curls and left for 30 minutes;
  • mix a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, 30 milliliters of castor oil, two raw chicken yolks and 50 milliliters of shampoo. Thoroughly mixed components of the mask must be distributed over clean, damp strands, insulated and left for a quarter of an hour.

Someone else's experience

It is also useful to find out the opinion of girls who have seen from their own experience how to make their hair smooth and shiny at home, by carefully studying their reviews:

Evgeniya, 31 years old

For my coarse and unruly hair, a mask consisting of two tablespoons of mayonnaise, burdock oil and two egg yolks is ideal. The hair should be divided into separate strands, thoroughly coated with the mixture, and wrapped with plastic wrap and a towel for half an hour. After such a mask, my hair is really very smooth and shimmers beautifully in the sun. The only negative is the not very pleasant eggy smell in the hair. But you can get rid of it if you drop essential oil on the comb while combing. My favorites are lavender and tangerine.

Yana, 26 years old

I think the most effective way to add shine and smoothness to hair is a gelatin mask. Gelatin must be combined with hot water in a ratio of 1:3, pour in hair balm and allow the mixture to swell for 20 minutes. The mask should be applied to damp curls, retreating a few centimeters from the roots, then wrapped in plastic and a towel. For a more effective effect of the components, you need to warm your hair with a hairdryer for about 15-20 minutes and leave the mask on for another 45 minutes. Next, you need to rinse your hair well, but do not use shampoo.

Beautiful, shiny, thick and silky curls are hard work that requires patience. You should not expect miraculous effects after the first use of any chosen product. Created exclusively from natural ingredients, they have a cumulative effect that manifests itself after several procedures.

Remember the old advice: to keep your hair beautiful, comb it with a hundred strokes of the brush? Of course, one hundred is too much. But if you slowly run a brush or comb with short and thick natural bristles (for example, boar) through your hair 20-30 times, it will become smoother and shiny. Hairdressers call this technique polishing hair The explanation is simple: such combing actually polishes the hair, smoothing the cuticle scales - and they begin to shine.

2. Use special hair shine products

Almost every brand has such a line. These are various products with vitamins (primarily panthenol), plant extracts, collagen, keratin, glycerin, betaine, volatile silicones, and various natural oils. If you need quick and maximum results, choose professional products. Just check with your hairdresser first: if you make a mistake in your choice (for example, choosing a treatment that is not suitable for your hair type), you can worsen the condition of your hair. Yes, it will gain shine, but the hairstyle will quickly begin to lose shape.

And be careful with oils, leave-in sprays and serums for hair shine: if you overdo it a little, your hair will stick together and appear greasy.

3. Laminate your hair

In a beauty salon, to give your hair shine, they may offer you a procedure lamination or ellumination. Although the principle of action of the compositions used for them is radically different, the essence of the procedures is basically the same: a special composition (transparent or tinted) with proteins and other biologically active substances is applied to the hair for 20-30 minutes, which seem to glue together the scattered cuticle scales and smooth out porous hair, making it shinier, smoother and more manageable. Moreover, the effect lasts 3-6 weeks.

4. Dye your hair with henna

Doesn't matter - colored or colorless– shine will be guaranteed. Unlike chemical dyes, henna does not penetrate the structure of the hair shafts, and like lamination compounds, it envelops them, filling in unevenness in the upper scaly layer. An additional bonus is that your hair will become stronger and begin to grow better, since henna also strengthens it well. And such strengthening “masks” are an effective remedy for combating dandruff. However, remember that after dyeing with henna, chemical dyes may not “take” or the result will turn out to be the most unexpected (up to a swamp-green tint). For the same reason, after dyeing your hair with henna, including colorless henna, it is not recommended to perm or chemically straighten your hair.

5. Add sourness

By changing the pH to acidic, it is also easy to smooth the cuticle and make your hair shine. Many balms for hair shine work on this principle - the effect is achieved by adding fruit acids, extracts or citrus essential oils to their composition. And a very simple option - you can add it to the rinse water lemon juice or vinegar(per liter of water - a tablespoon). By the way, such acidification also softens the water. And hard water is one of the reasons why your hair remains dull, despite all your efforts: the salts present in it react with the detergent. As a result, a sediment forms on the hair, depriving it of shine. In order to remove it, many shampoos add fruit acids or salicylic acid.

6. Use natural masks

The simplest homemade hair mask for shine- with egg yolk. It contains vitamins A, B and E. Amino acids and lecithin perfectly nourish, moisturize and restore even damaged hair. For maximum effect, it is better to mix the yolk with oil (for example, olive, avocado or jojoba). The resulting mixture is applied to the hair 30-40 minutes before washing.

Must be natural. If your hair is dull, it means that not everything is in order: it is affected by the environment, stress, poor nutrition and improper care, as well as hairdressing procedures - even a simple blow-dry quickly dehydrates the hair, depriving it of strength and shine.

Rules for shiny hair

Some rules should always be followed, but most of us don’t follow them - we think we don’t have enough time for it.

  • There is no need to hastily and carelessly comb wet hair, or vigorously rub it with a towel to dry it faster - this damages its surface and prevents it from shining.
  • Wear a hat even in the summer when the hot sun is shining - a fashionable ladies' hat or a stylish panama hat is not difficult to buy today; In the cold season, it is simply necessary to protect your hair, otherwise frost and wind will quickly deprive it of its vitality, and it will become faded and colorless.
  • There is no need to blow dry your hair unless absolutely necessary: if you wash your hair in the morning, do it as soon as you get out of bed - while you prepare breakfast and do other morning chores, your hair will dry on its own.
  • Minimize the use of hot irons and curling irons, and be sure to restore your hair with homemade masks - nourishing, moisturizing, etc.

Long, richly colored, shiny hair is still at the top of every woman's beauty wish list. While some women are born with shiny, shiny hair, many are born with hair that is dull and dry.

Many women suffer from unmanageable hair that lacks shine. Regardless of whether short or long hair is in trend, many girls still crave soft and silky hair.

We have always strived to find the secret to getting silky, shiny hair. The answer lies in proper hair care.

Here are some simple home remedies for silky hair.

Eat healthy

Vitamins play an important role in maintaining hair and cuticle growth. Try to consume as many vitamins as possible in the form of fruits, especially citrus fruits.

Our body must receive enough moisture, constantly maintain the water level, as dehydration can lead to dry facial skin and scalp, and as a result, lifeless hair. Try to drink as much water and fluids as you can.

Choose the right care products

Want to know how to make your hair silky and shiny? To do this, you need to choose the right products to pamper your hair.

Chemically loaded shampoos, conditioners and styling products can have adverse effects on our hair in the long run.

Long-term use of these products leads to a buildup of chemicals, which will be extremely bad for your hair and overall health. Use shampoos and conditioners that are as gentle as possible.

Buy only good natural products, this is very important for your hair and this is the only way you will always be confident in the beauty of your hair.

Avoid shampoos containing alcohol. It tends to strip the hair of its natural oils.

Head massage with oil

Oil massage is very important for your hair, just like any other part of your body. Oiling the roots provides nutrition and strength and helps hair grow long, strong and shiny. It also helps rejuvenate dead hair cells.

Massage is one of the simplest and most relaxing hair care essentials. It improves blood circulation and stimulates blood flow. You can use coconut oil or almond oil to massage your scalp.

Combing hair

Combing hair is our daily task, but if you approach this process wisely, it will lead to increased hair growth.

It is necessary to apply moderate pressure on the comb when combing, which will stimulate blood circulation very well. Brushing also helps distribute natural oils from the scalp to the ends of the hair.

Avoid brushing your hair while it is still wet. Wet hair tends to stretch more and break more easily compared to dry hair.

If you want to make combing easier, use your fingers and gently run them through each strand of hair. Also use a comb with soft bristles.

“Treatment” with cold water

Hot showers can be hard on your hair and strip it of moisture. Rinsing with cold water, on the other hand, helps seal the cuticle and strengthens the roots, thereby helping the hair retain some of its moisture. This gives the hair softness and silkiness.

Regular pruning

Many professional hairdressers strongly recommend trimming your hair regularly so that it grows faster and becomes thicker. By trimming the edges of your hair, you make it look more attractive because you remove problematic hair.

Do not use hot tools

The biggest culprits of damaged hair are hot tools. It’s not very good if you constantly use hot tongs, curling irons and a hair dryer to dry your hair.

Try to dry your hair naturally, just dipping it with a towel (do not rub it!). If you urgently need to dry your hair, then just do it with slightly warm air (not hot!) And try to curl your hair in more gentle ways.

Proper conditioning

Conditioner is essential for good hair - it blocks the evaporation of moisture from the hair, prevents dry skin, and provides protection from environmental pollution and, to a certain extent, from the sun too.

It also helps replace lipids and proteins inside the hair shaft and seals the cuticle to prevent further damage.

How to get silky and shiny hair in a few minutes

If you're in a rush and need to add some last-minute shine to your hair, follow the steps listed below.

Note: This method will not improve the health of your hair, it should be considered a "quick fix" method in case of emergency.

You will need the following:

  1. Straightener for curly or wavy hair
  2. Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner
  3. heat protection spray
  4. smoothing serum

Steps to get shiny hair

Curly hair is not glossy, and this is noticeable to the naked eye. Slightly wavy or straight hair is easier to add shine to using a few simple techniques.

This is because straight hair has a flat surface that reflects light in such a way that the shine becomes noticeable. Hence, hair straightening can be considered positively to create a glossy look.

Step 1

If you want shiny hair, don't take baths in hot water. It's proven that hot water strips oils from your hair, leaving it dull and dry.

A good smoothing shampoo will be enough to remove dirt from your hair. If you really need to take a hot shower, wear a shower cap or use hydrating hair masks later to replenish lost oils and moisture.

This is just the first step that you cannot skip if you want shiny, glossy hair.

Step 2

Rinsing removes moisture from the hair, making it rough and unmanageable. Using a good conditioner after shampooing will keep your hair looking shiny and healthy.

Use a good conditioner and always leave it on your head for a couple of minutes to lock in the moisture in your hair.

Step 3

Curly hair is usually coarser and dull in appearance. If you want your hair to shine, you can straighten it. However, be sure to use a heat protection spray before you start straightening with an iron. The spray helps protect hair from excessive damage.

Step 4

After you've straightened your hair and it's completely cooled, use a smoothing serum.

Do not apply too much serum to your hair, the amount should be minimal so that your hair does not look wet and you do not have to wash it after a short time.

Make sure that the spray does not contain alcohol, because it makes your hair dry and unmanageable. Then simply comb your hair with a wide-toothed comb and you're done!

Natural Remedies for Silky Hair

We have several simple ways using products that are in every home:

Method 1

Natural products and ingredients from your kitchen are powerful enough to help you with your hair problem.

If you need a quick fix for dull hair, a good idea is to rinse your hair with a mixture of water and two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar/white wine/plain vinegar.

Method 2

Mayonnaise is also great for hair, as it nourishes it and makes it shinier. This is due to the vegetable oils it contains. Depending on the volume of your hair and length, take mayonnaise and place it in a glass bowl.

Before using mayonnaise, remove it from the refrigerator about an hour so that it is at room temperature. Before applying this mask, your hair should be washed with warm water, which will open the follicles.

Then apply it along the entire length of your hair, covering it completely. After covering all the strands with mayonnaise, put on a shower cap. It is best to keep it on for about an hour or more. This method makes hair soft, silky and glossy.

Other Important Tips for Silky Hair

  • Whenever you go out, cover your hair with a hat. Pollution and sun are the main factors that contribute to hair damage.
  • Avoid using shampoos that contain sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium laureth sulfate. Try using herbal home remedies for hair restoration; Harsh chemicals will make your hair even worse.
  • Don't tie your hair too tightly; this leads to hair damage.
  • Wash your hair three times a week if you have an oily scalp, otherwise twice a week is enough. Because washing your hair frequently dries out the natural oils of the scalp and leads to dry hair.
  • Use a good conditioner after every hair wash. This is a must! It nourishes dry, brittle and damaged hair. It also adds shine and makes hair manageable. Choose the right conditioner for your hair.
  • Massage your scalp for a few minutes every day. This not only stimulates blood circulation, but also removes dead skin cells, helps prevent dandruff and improves hair growth.
  • Use a brush to detangle, preferably one with soft bristles.
  • Cover your hair when going out in the sun. The sun is hard on your hair. It dries them out and makes them dull and brittle.
  • If you have oily hair, add vinegar or lemon to the water when rinsing, this will help remove oil and add shine to your hair.
  • If you visit the pool or gym every day, then you need to wash your hair every day too. So use a gentle moisturizing shampoo followed by a light conditioner to replenish lost natural oils.
  • To prevent dry and lifeless hair, you need to use simple hair masks.
  • Avoid washing your hair with soap. Shampoo is always better for hair as a cleanser, while soap will dry your hair completely.

Now that you know how to get silky hair at home, you no longer have to worry about the condition of your hair. Because now you know the secret!

Take a break!

Do you want to make your hair shiny? There are ways to add shine to any hair type. You can use special hair masks or care for your hair in a certain way. Keeping your hair shiny requires constant care to keep it healthy and strong.

Steps

Hair masks

    Egg mask. The yolk nourishes the hair (it won't look dull), and the white cleanses it. As a result, after one use of this mask, your hair will look very shiny.

    • Break one egg into a small bowl.
    • Wet your hair.
    • Apply egg to hair. Using a wide-tooth comb, comb your hair down to the ends.
    • Wait 15 minutes.
    • Wash your hair with shampoo (as usual). Rinse them with cold water for maximum shine.
  1. Apple cider vinegar mask. Apple cider vinegar conditions hair and enhances shine. It also balances the pH of your hair, cleanses it and makes it soft. Once your hair dries, it won't smell like vinegar.

    • Wash your hair with shampoo (as usual), but do not use conditioner.
    • Make a mixture of 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar and 1 tablespoon water and apply it to your hair; comb them.
    • Wait 5 minutes and then rinse your hair with cold water.
  2. Avocado mask. Avocado contains fats that nourish hair and give it shine. Use a ripe avocado to make it easier to apply to your hair and to help it penetrate your hair better. Use an avocado mask if your hair is dry and needs moisture.

    • Grind the avocado until smooth (you can use a blender for this).
    • Wet your hair.
    • Apply avocado from roots to ends of hair.
    • Wash your hair with shampoo (as usual). Rinse them with cold water
  3. Honey mask. Honey moisturizes and cleanses hair, making it ideal for adding shine to hair.

    • Mix 1/4 cup honey and 1/4 cup water.
    • Wet your hair.
    • Apply the mixture to your hair.
    • Wait 15 minutes (at least).
    • Wash your hair with shampoo (as usual). Rinse them with cold water.
  4. Deep conditioning of hair. Use a deep conditioning treatment once a week to keep your hair healthy, strong and shiny. Buy conditioner at the store or make your own using olive or coconut oil.

    • Wet your hair.
    • Apply 1-3 tablespoons of coconut or olive oil to your hair and comb through from roots to ends. Cover your head with plastic wrap or a shower cap.
    • Leave the oil on your hair for 1 hour or even overnight.
    • Wash your hair with shampoo (you may need to wash it 2-3 times to completely remove the oil). Rinse your hair with cold water.

    Hair care

    1. Apply leave-in conditioner to damp hair. Hair may become dull when dried out. So use a good leave-in conditioner to keep dry hair shiny. Apply a little of this conditioner to damp hair and comb through.

      Dry your hair naturally. Using hair dryers and other devices causes hair damage, stiffness and dullness. Dry your hair naturally and after a few weeks or months you will notice that your hair has become soft and shiny.

      • Avoid using heat styling or curling tools. Hair straightening irons, curling irons and other tools dry out your hair and make it dull.
    2. Use oil to condition your curls (after you have dried your hair naturally). This treatment will instantly add shine to your hair and protect it from damage. Use just a little oil (but this depends on the length of your hair). You can buy a special hair oil or use one of the following oils:

      • Olive oil
      • Argan oil
      • Almond oil
      • Jojoba oil
      • Castor oil
      • Coconut oil
    3. Use shine serum. This serum contains silicones and other ingredients that instantly make hair shiny. Most serums can be applied to either damp or dry hair.

      • Do not use serums daily. Silicones, which give hair shine, accumulate in the hair over time and make it dull. Use shine serums on special occasions.
      • Make sure that the serum you choose does not contain alcohol as it can dry out your hair.
    4. Get rid of frizz. Curly hair looks dull. If your hair is straight or wavy, avoid frizz by doing the following:

      Trim your hair regularly. Removing split ends will make your hair shiny in the long run. Ask your hairdresser not to use chemicals or heat styling tools.

    Healthy hair

      Wash your hair less often. Every time you wash your hair, it becomes frizzy, dry and brittle because sebum, the natural oil the scalp produces to protect hair, is stripped away. Wash your hair 1-2 times a week to keep your hair healthy and shiny.

      • Your hair will need 1-2 weeks to get used to the new (less frequent) washing routine. During this period, comb your hair up.
      • Use dry shampoo between washes. It will remove excess oil from your hair.
    1. Use products made from natural ingredients. Washing and styling your hair with chemicals can cause damage to your hair. Look for hair products (shampoos, conditioners, etc.) that do not contain the following ingredients:

    2. Do not subject your hair to frequent chemical treatments (dying, bleaching, perm), as this leads to damage - it becomes dry and brittle.

      • If you want to color your hair, use natural dyes, such as henna (which also nourishes the hair).
      • Use honey or chamomile tea as a natural hair lightener.
    3. Follow a diet and lead a healthy lifestyle. No matter how you take care of your hair, it will not be shiny if your body is not healthy. Follow a diet and consume enough water to keep your hair in great condition. Try to eat the following foods:

      • Fish, beef, poultry, eggs, legumes and other foods high in protein. Hair is made of protein, so its deficiency immediately affects it.
      • Avocado and nuts. They contain healthy fats that strengthen your hair and make it shiny.
      • Nutrient-rich plants such as spinach and kale are especially beneficial for healthy hair.
    4. Drink plenty of water. When the body is dehydrated, hair becomes dull and brittle. Drink 8 glasses of water a day.

      • Also eat foods that are rich in liquid, such as watermelon, berries, apples, cucumbers, lettuce and cabbage.
      • Drink tea, preferably herbal.
    5. Protect your hair from external factors. Sun, extreme temperatures, and pollution can all degrade the appearance of your hair. Protect them with the following measures:

      • Wear a hat in strong sun. The sun can easily damage your hair if you don't protect it.
      • Wear a swimming cap in the pool. Chlorine dries out hair and leaves residue. If you swim without a cap, wash your hair immediately after swimming.
      • Don't go out into the cold with wet hair. The hair may freeze, causing it to frizz.
